Nah. If the LC goes, no need for it and I really need cash right now.

If I had anymore guns, I would sell them too.

I met a guy that has a 2007 100-Series (I think it's an LC but could be an LX470) with 72k miles that has an undercarriage that is so rusted out that the brake lines have failed and it only has a parking brake at the moment. Otherwise he says it's in excellent condition. I haven't seen it. He already has an offer of $2100 and I was thinking about going higher and having a spare parts truck in case I bump a fender on a trail or something.

What do you guys think I should offer or should I let it go?

That's a lot of money for a rusty parts truck that you don't have a need for, especially if it's not an an exact color match to yours.

I'd pass.

If you do damage something in the future, fix it, or just buy that part.

...I was thinking about ... having a spare parts truck in case for WHEN I bump a fender on a trail or something.

Wanted: Front FZJ80 3rd member. Stock gears, open. Mine is whining and not ready to regear/locker yet. Figured I'd try to find a good used one before I buy new gears. Thanks!

Also wanted:

late 60 series or 80 series steering box (larger bolt pattern) in good condition or for rebuild

Haha believe me I've been tempted but I'm already pretty deep in this truck and got it almost caught up to where I can start doing real mods. I'm surprised nobody has snatched your truck up yet.
