Ha. Yes I have a 100. Forgot I started reading yours when I was working on my 80. Oops.

yeah kudos Luke, and great thread!

Started designing a side storage box that will extend into the factory cargo area and still allow access to the lower storage area along the side of the storage drawers.. I should have the whole thing mocked up by tomorrow and will build a prototype in Baltic Birch.
For the final build I'm going to use Sea Board and have the company that's building the tailgate hatch cut the pieces for this side storage box

Very cool idea, just make sure to consider those without drawers and who still use the middle row seats when finalizing your design. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

This will be a one off design for my truck and would share with others who have the same setup.. i might also work on a passenger side rear cargo storage even though I have no use for it because I have a fridge and a 12 inch sub enclosure that sit on the passenger side.
I have to remove my built in sub enclose that resides in the passenger cargo area that blew..
So I think I'll make a prototype while I'm in there

nice truck is an understatement. You've taken it to another level...

Here's the mockup for the side cargo box.. Surprisingly quite a bit a room and I think I'm just going to make out of baltic birch and cover and line the inside with fuzzy automotive material

Now that's innovation at its finest. Well done sir. I've been toying with this same idea ever since I bought my rig. I was stuck on what type of material to use to keep weight down and easy clean up. Inside I had ideas of removable storage solutions and bins. Lockable and handsome. I really like the lid you came up with and the side boxes IMHO should be made of the same materials. Keep up the good work we'll be watching. :poof:

Looks great Lou! A lot more space than I would have guessed.
Thanks Ryan...yeah surprisingly and I'm not really taking up that much of the cargo area.

Rolled on some Bed Liner... but plan on a second coat and will use a non textured roller..looking for a little less texture
I also just listed a Fox Wing Awning in the classified section if anybody's in need of one

Finished up the side cargo box.... I will definitely make the final product out of seaboard..it will be half the weight and all the parts will be CNC cut.. But I'm pretty happy will the results
