So after seeing the hood vents Jose @jcardona1 put on his 80 I went on a search and found a clean set including drip trays ..from the Chevy Lumina Z34

Built another side storage box today and have another one cut but not assembled.. It's always easier the second time around and usually higher quality.. Baltic birch was the big change... It's almost like working with a hardwood.. I also used a 16g air nailer which really made quick work of assembling the cabinet.. I still have to fill the nail holes but it beats filling counter sunk screws which I used on the first one. I also didn't like the roll on bed liner I used and I'm thinking of having the outside Line-x'd and leaving the inside plain old wood with some kind of natural finish

Had some extra Baltic Birch so I built a small and I mean small...box and drawer for the vacant area to the right of the fridge. I would have built a longer drawer but I have a 12 inch sub in an enclosure in that area.. The small box will sport a bottle opener as a drawer pull and will also have another small box on top for two USB ports.. Now I have to figure out what will fit in the drawer.:):)

Hard to get perspective, until you see that giant's thumb in the last pic. Haha. That is not a big drawer, out door essentials, bug spray, clean wipes, glow sticks, etc

Or it is next to the fridge, plastic utensils, kitchen knife, etc. lol.

Like that pearl gray!

It was my first choice... those top two pictures are the same color... supposedly.. The third picture is a modern mix of the Mouse Gray and slightly different then the fourth picture ..... I also have the complete recipe to mix that modern version .... these are very old VW colors and its hard to find all the recipe details... I'm headed to our body shop to mix up some samples

Wow that's going to be a big job! Going to pull glass, doors, all trim and rubber??

Definitely want to pull glass and doors if it's in the budget.... Did I say budget? Don't know if i understand the meaning of that..:grinpimp:

Haha no I don't think you do!! If I can't find a really nice black LX450, I might have to do the same. Can you PM or text me the quote you get? Thanks!

I will do that

I have never done business with any of the companies on Alibaba but have been tempted...My experience when asking for pricing was never rock solid... unless i committed to purchased.. Then I ran across this company http://www.dl4wd.en.alibaba.com/
I sent a request for pricing for just 1 set of the ABS fender flares and got a quick response with pricing including shipping to my address..
So i placed the order, received the FedEx tracking number and the package arrives Wed Nov 5th.... prompt service and great response. Curious about the fit for my 96.... Cost was $85.00 plus $250 for shipping ...additional $35 in shipping if I added a second set..
I worked with Winnie

Really interested to see these go on. Please do a write up on em as I'd really like to get a set. I had the same on a Rover and they looked "boss" as the kids say.
