The 2UZ sounds so good with headers! My 55 had the Doug Thorley and the exhaust Lance built and it sounded really throaty and mean and the Supercharger whine was awesome! I am jealous!!!

I'm in conversation's with Elate Mfg to add their supercharger kit along a upgraded ECU that's programmable, a Bosch 82mm electronic throttlebody with a drive-by wire pedal, once I put a few thousand miles on the engine. They indicated with the right setup I could see 400 plus WHP. I'm not sure I'm looking to push the engine that hard but it's interesting to read their statement after they saw the engine.
Oh I think 400AWHP on a forged V8 is not pushing it that hard at all. You are talking 70'ish hp per cylinder. The forged rods I bought for my 1FZ are rated at 225hp each. I think the trans will be fine but it would be the weak link...

Slow and steady, work is progressing. Restoration of oxidize and pitted aluminum is pretty impressive. Beaded polished and sealed.

Steady progress, They modified the headers after the collector and installed a V-band clamp.
Wow - that is really inmpressive! what are the steps required to restore the aluminum like that?
