Luke111 said:Yes, it has to be cut, the receiver is welded to the bumper and after they cut the x-member they drill 4 holes and bolt the bumper to the x-member.

Luke111 said:Its a good 5 inch maybe more.. looking at the photo you can see the factory hole on the backside...which also gets cut....I can measure the backside tonight and get back to you.

Luke111 said:Ok, I was wrong..the cut that you see is max 4 inches...3 1/2 would be perfect... you can make the hole smaller..as long as the receiver will fit through the hole ..you need to leave enough metal to drill the holes and bolt the bumper on...the back side is about 9 inches so you can access the bolts...hope this makes sense.. I couldn't get a good picture because my spare is in the way...If you need a better picture I'll lower it tomorrow.

Had the day off today and got started on the dynamat..pulled out the whole interior.. I plan on running all the wiring for the amp and speakers and then button it back together.
Did I miss where you mounted the amp?
Did it go just ahead of your sub box in the rear quarterpanel, behind the interior panel?
Nice work, looks like you take your time planning the installs, it shows in the finished product!
