What would that look like do you have a picture! Thank you!
Could I do same size without the lift?

Is there anyway to do a lift on it without spending 1500 for new suspension. If not what's the biggest size you think I can go bone stock! If your rear quarter panel wheel wells have not been cut, 33's would rub the sheet metal if the shocks move very much. Most people do at least a 2-1/2" lift to run 33's. Oh, and some previous owner cut my wheel wells; notice how they are not smoothly rounded any more.

Not that's worth doing.
No personal experience, but I believe the common Mud wisdom is 31" fit.
I likei'll say it.
that will look like ass.
thinking about getting these 18 inch TRD with as big of a tire I can get on them without lift.

After seeing the shape of this one I realize it's not the one I want to spend much on I want to use this to learn everything I need to know about the fj and than buy one that's in good shape to spend money onYou were about to drop 27k on that other cruiser....spend the 1,500 on a good suspension setup
I said I am planning going larger on the wheels though :/you realize with a smaller sidewall on the tire the ride will be worse, no matter how it looks.
it is your rig, do as you wish
