update FJ Family! Bought this instead for $10,000. I want to swap the motor/trans/suspension on it. Could you guys tell me what my best options would be if I want to daily this. Want it to drive smooth at 60-80mph.

they'res nothing wrong with dailying a 2F H42 at all.....i average 150 miles a day with mine.
suspensionwise, you have two choices comfort wise, terrible and not bad....it's a short wheel base leaf sprung vehicle, it will never be smooth.

Don't go bigger on the rim....get some stock steel wheels and a 33x10.5x15 mud/all terrain

79 is a questionable carb, it isn't the best design, but has been rebuilt and can work well. a later 2F carb is a good replacement or a combo of the 2 carbs.
Take it off and send it to Mark @ Marks Offroad or Jim @TLC performance, either of these 2 guys work magic on carbs.

Those are an Aussie tyre.... maybe a deestone or other Chinese tyre

Most likely a 750x16 ... the truck has a 16” oem hubcap front rim and 16” rear split rim

Bias ply as well I bet... they wear quick on road
