So - when are we going wheelin'??? :flipoff2:

You'll be hard pressed to get me out in this thing anytime in the near future. Maybe some mild forest roads, but nothing with risk of body damage...at least not for a while.

Looking great!

Yeah, they do look kinda hotrod. Not really my intention, but oh well. I just wanted things to match. I got tired of looking at gray! I do have steelies and hubcaps for it. Bought them new last year.

Well, it's more than 2 years later, and I am in the final stretch. The seats are done. The last of the weather stipping is going on today, and the interior is done. Here is the front seat:

Over the past few days I've been working with Peter Merriam here in town (who is a kick ass LC mechanic) and we have figured out the carb situation, have all the parts we need (finally) and got the truck running yesterday. The first time she's fired in 2 years. AND, she now has an Aisin carb on her. We still have a bunch of work to do to change out the fuel pump, work out the kinks with the rest of the fuel system, and adjust timing and all that good stuff. But for the most part, she's roadworthy.

This weekend, Upstate Cruisers is having a HAMOM at my house and we're installing the Alcans, the Warn Lock-o-matic hubs, installing the new stock wheels with 33 MTR's, and rebuilding and installing the tailgate, and hopefull reinstalling the heaters.

I want to drive her to work on MONDAY!!!!!

I'll take pics as we get her on the road.

Love the seats! Take lots of pictures of the Alcan install please! I need to swap mine out soon and pictures from somebody that already did it are worth gold to me :)

Thanks, and I'll take pics and post them up.

Now here's the news I've been waiting to post up for a long time:

THE PIG IS HOME!!!!!

I just drove it home and although it runs like crap 'cause the gas is nasty, it's here!!!

Tomorrow the lift goes on along with other things that I have stockpiled. It's a good cruiser day.

Huge congrats!

All that patience and hard work paid off.

That looks fantastic!

Great job giving it a new life.

That has to be one of the most beautiful Pigs I have ever seen. Better than brand-new. Excellent job!

P.S. I had the chrome grill and side vents from Wilbur..traded the chrome grill to FC for a '69 grill, but still have the chrome side vents...if you need them, I'm sure we can work something out

Thanks Pighead...I would love to have those vents. Mine are not chome and that would really complete the look.

PM coming your way. Thanks.

Also, did a BUNCH of work today...the pig is lifted! I'll post up pics and the story after I put the baby to bed. Stay tuned!
