She's home. And it wasn't the best experience, but no one will have to go through it again. They are out of business. I think I was the last truck to leave. But at least we got it back. It was dicey there for a while. Huge props to the folks here for all the help. Lingo, gmarshall7 and Hugh all came out to help and had my back should I have needed them. I will be forever in their debt.

Chuck, I found out that I need the driver side glass. Do you have one of those handy?

Yeppers, left or right are the same & I have them both & the rears too if you want them. You going to the next meeting? I can deliver then or if you need it sooner PM me for details.

Update. She goes in Thursday for new upholstry, new headliner, new door panels, and to have all the glass reinstalled.

I am thinkint of doing the interior red and white to match the outside of the truck. It really doesn't add much to the price, so I am thinkint of getting a wee bit creative. Here is the website of the folks that are going to do the work. They are well known and come recommended. Tim's Auto Upholstery

They have done a 55 before too, so that's a bonus (porterda's in fact). I can't wait. Any suggestions on interior? Something with a little bling but not over the top? Maybe red seats with white inserts...red door panels, white piping? Hmmm...

I stopped in to visit the pig today at Tim's and they have the headliner, cargo glass, fixed windows, and winshield in. It's looking GOOD. I need to tak some more parts over, so I'll take pictures next time.

hit up groucho on the rising sun forum. he made a bunch of roof rack mounting brackets, he may still have some left.

What you talking about drunky smurf?

So here are some long awaited pictures. And here is my disclaimer...the interior I chose is not for everyone. I know this...but I wanted something that would set this truck apart from others and I think that this hit the mark.

Please note the new headliner, the new rubber all the way aroun (even the cat whiskers, channel felt, wing vents, fixed window, etc.). The tailgate isn't on yet and the seats are currently under construction. But they will be in line with the door panels.

Enjoy.

Yeah, I knew not everyone would be a big fan of the color. But to see it in person, it really does tie in nicely with the color on the truck.

The door handle bolt holes are cut in the plastic, but not in the vinyl. They are dying the handles to match the color.

Yes, that is a SOR headliner.

Is the white/beige in the door panel the same color as the headliner?

Yes. And it is damn close to the same as the outside. As close as things get with old paint codes and crappy painters.
