Makes sense. Note takenThe rule is: Never use an ARB compressor to fill tires and if it's mounted inside the blazing hot engine compartment it won't last very long
I agree. This is the one rated to fill tires and that is all I used it for; and it still died. The rule is: Never use an ARB compressor to fill tires and if it's mounted inside the blazing hot engine compartment it won't last very long
It was rolled, so it's donating parts so others can live on.I’m sad to see that 80 go, but at least it’s contributing to a good cause.
Yeah I was looking at those pictures and the A-Pillars definitely had been squished! It was rolled, so it's donating parts so others can live on.
My first comment was “I completely get why shops charge real money for this”Hate that job. Done it three times now, it never gets faster
I’ll just leave this here. The plasma cutter sure made quick work of it, but it still takes some effort. I’ve got a lot of grinding and slag smoothing left.
Next up we will mock up the perches and set pinion angle and strip/paint it all.
I need brake parts and brake lines for my parts orders coming up.

It's funny how many people I follow on Instagram that were there that day.Aside from cutting up that 80 axle, I didn’t do anything but make this old truck run for Ben so he can drive it back to California.
I was only a small part of a bigger puzzle. From sitting since 2003 to running in 3 days.

2 hours with a plasma and a few hand burns from slag.It took me maybe 20+ work hours with just a grinder wheel. I’m sure it could have gone faster. I need to get a plasma cutter.
