Everything is finish welded and painted. U-bolts, TREs, shackles and spring pins are now torqued. Just need to get some brake lines and I'm rolling again!

Yes, I need to fix the headlight door.

Tied the body and radiator core support mounts into the outboard plates:

Looks pretty damn good if you ask me.

M12x1.5 o-ring to -6an adapter from russell. Billet T3 oil flange with 1/8" NPT threaded center from ebay, then a 1/8" NPT to -6an adapter. Then used PTFE -6an line and fittings from Summit. Fits perfectly and looks professional. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Would have saved myself a bunch of headaches if I had done it this way initially.

Going to look into this. Wyoming installed a hardline on mine... I'm worried about the vibration causing a crack/break down the road....

I remember having a discussion about that oil feed hardline on the 4BTSwaps forum when Wyoming set it up that way. On one hand, the turbo/exhaust/head/block are all bolted together and should never, in any circumstance, move in relation to eachother. On the other hand, Cummins must have used a flexible line for some reason. In any case, if you want to switch to PTFE, those are the parts you'll need (minus the T3 flange + adapter, add another M12x1.5 to -6an adapter).

Ordered brake lines through amazon, but it's the same kit as listed here; "GM Metric Brake Hose Kit". This will adapt the banjo fittings from my caliper to -3an, then terminate with tabs and adapters to 3/16" line on the axle.

Thanks Johnny... My handwritten re-work list that hangs by my shop sink needs to be transferred to a computer file and then backed up on a 8GB zip drive.....

We're mobile again.

Picked up this kit to go from the m10x1.5 banjo bolts on the caliper to -3an, then from -3an to 3/16" hard lines on the frame (with tabs). Also grabbed the same union / soft line to go from the axle to the frame as is used on the 14 bolt in the rear. Picked up some 3/16" line from Autozone and got to work.

Welded the soft-hard line tabs to the u-bolt plates and made a bracket to bolt the union to one of the diff cover bolts.

First time on 4 wheels for over a month. One tire was a little flat, so aired it up while idling for 20min or so to ensure I had no oil leaks.

Took her for a spin! Got the new turbo up to 26psi, highest I've ever seen it. She's a screamer too

Frame height is ~26.5" in the front. Doesn't look like I gained much of anything.

She drives pretty good!! Alignment seems to be almost perfect. Steering is a little stiff, but I'm not sure if that's because of my kingpin preload, because of my PS fluid being a bit low or because I have yet to grease my TREs. That's alright though, because she drives!!!

Tomorrow will be the first day I've driven myself to work in about a month. Looking forward to it.

Every time I look at your build progress, I get a chubby. Is that bad? Fine job your doing there Johnny. I also just bought a bunch of brake components just like the ones you have pictured. Spent a small fortune on that shat!!! Guess its piece of mind that its all new and I will have no problems with it. Can't wait to see more.

Great job Johnny. Nice move on getting that turbo in there cause now you probably don't even notice the front axle weight gain. Dora's happy her sister rig is back on the road and in short time.
