That front axle is sorta wimpy...
...Sitting on the ground at least. Look forward to seeing it under Moonshine!

Those arms are things of beauty! I found that with this geometry I was able to use my 6in ram. I measured several times the travel of the tie rod as I cycled the steering and sure enough 6 in was just right. Usually you'd need an 8in ram for D60 steering.
Glad you've got concrete to work on, gravel is no fun. I like that the downspout will clean off the pad under your truck during the wet season. Should keep the "marking it's territory" to a minimum.
Good call on the steering ram. That will have to come at a later time, but the proximity of the tie rod to the axle housing will be a benefit there.
I'm going to work on this new pad with a tarp, to keep metal dust from staining the concrete. Either way, I'm excited to start on the D60 swap!
I took off work on Friday, so more updates are coming down the pipe.
