Smells kinda like latex paint when putting it down since it's water based. Once dry, I can put my nose on this stuff then take a big whiff and not smell anything.
Tomorrow comes the Cruiser Crap and then some carpet! First time Moonshine will have had carpet in her since she was last in Toyota Trails![]()
It should quiet her down significantly. I'll try the second skin on my next project

LOL me too it's been three years with bare floorboards and sor rubber mat the spectrum, insulation and marine carpet have made for a much cooler and quieter beast for sure. Johnnie u are going to love it.

Man, you suck at this! Haha! Seriously, looks like it will help a lot. You think all the adhesion issues are taken care of now? And what does a bucket full of that stuff cost?
It was mid 80's to low 90's when we applied it to the beast, I had one area maybe an inch where I had spilled some oil after the prep that did not take on the first coat but that was it. I think the temp and the rapid second coating, it does appear to be dry in just minutes, had more effect than any other factor. But it is sure great stuff. I bought 5 gallons and it was expensive but it seems to be worth the cost.
Even Johnny is going to get some more with all the trouble he had, it work as undercoat too! I use it as touch up on the undercoating when I get a bad scrape. See Ya!!
Hijack over: back to your wonderful absolutly wicked Diesel conversion keep it up.
Can this stuff be sprayed?
Thinking when I have my engine out I should coat the firewall, wheel wells with this stuff before putting on the reflective firewall insulation I have.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!

Yeah, now we're talkin'! I bet you like getting on the freeway now.
In my truck while 10 psi starts feeling like something is happening, 15-20psi is when it really starts waking up. Of course it's a different turbo but I think your rig will feel like a rocket when you get north of 20psi. Right now I'm maxing at 23-24psi.
That's awesome, but you won't go back to driving slow now. I know I didn't![]()

X2! It's too fun to hear that turbo spooling.
~20mpg is excellent for a lifted brick on oversized tires that is not driven gently. I hate to imaging what my 2F would have been getting in my current configuration and driving style.
Right on Johnny. Can't wait for the diesel in Marley. Hopefully in the near future.
