Well you're way ahead of me again. I just revived my thread from last weekend. After I got mine all back together it ran for 4-5 minutes with great oil pressure showing and seized. I think I'm done for the season.

Did you find you had to double up the header gaskets? Just curious.I only had 2 hours today and two hours yesterday to work.... got headers on.... again a horrible job. Got a bunch of misc things done. I don't have anything planed tom. But lc time hopeing to put in 12-14 hour day, or until the whiskey runs out![]()

I would try and grind down the linkage slightly instead of the intake manifold itself. But you know how well my mechanical skills have been working out lately.

I agree with clearancing both. It is difficult to see how much it hits. If it was alot it would seem it would be easy to move the pivot point down on the cam. It appears that it is the cam end that hits not the bar itself.Clearance both sides to take as little off as possible.
