Tech Hijack!!
I've learned that and refuse to be concerned with the little things... like breaking down in remote areas... I travel as prepared as I can be and face any issues that come up.
But, I also have been married 46 years this month... and I prefer Dianna hang around... so, I have to wait a couple more weeks for a medical/Dianna release.
Tech Hijack over!!
Happy Anniversary Danny and Dianna!!!![]()
Wow 46 years !!!That's true love...awesome!![]()
(Dianna must be a very tolerant person)
Hey Danny, I have a question about your 44 hood lock, did you use the 6 foot or 7 foot long lock?
Thanks!
4' would be tight... 6' allowed me to run from just right of the handbrake, across the firewall, thru the firewall by the clutch master, down the driver's side fender apron, to the hood lock... 6' is fine. Thanks Danny!
Was it a tight fit or do you think the 7 footer will better?
I finally got the Toro engine up and running after cleaning the micro switches and all the other electrical connectors. While I was under the Toro I noticed the hydrostatic trans-axle drive belt was full of cracks and pretty beat up after 18 years of use, so decided to remove it and in the process had to remove steering and pedal components.

I've never seen before a belt so badly worn out.

Two things -
Have you ever checked the electric clutch on that Toro and adjusted it ? I see a lot of material showing on the pulley , or maybe it's just dirt .
Second - what is the US General thing under the Toro , a creeper ?
