Mike that was up in Pacific NW with the stunning red ‘78?

I just cleaned my hubs yesterday. I would have taken some pictures but my entire body was covered in grease! I started with the HF degreaser. No luck. Then I soaked them in Diesel in a 5 gal bucket. Better. Added some gas, and that really loosened it up. Hit it with the pressure washer, and finished with a brass wheel on the bench grinder. They really came clean. Mine were just as nasty as yours, maybe worse.

Call me non green, or whatever, but nothing I have ever used will cut grease/clean like gas.
Do you recall what color of silver and gold you used for you WARN hubs?

We have not heard from Mike in quite some time. I sure hope he is ok. His rig was the “model” for my build. Very detailed guy and very helpful. If he is out there I sure hope we hear from him. Tom

Any updates on Mike … since I was away I’ve been trying to get caught up with what others have been up to and just now read how mike has not been on mud or heard from

Concerned
Yup, it's been a few years.

He had ordered a number of items from @OGBeno - it's personal info and maybe he doesn't want to be found, but an actual name would help in the search for him. Seeing the post that he nor his wife couldn't be reached via phone is cause for concern (unless again, they don't want to be found - perhaps they went off the grid).

Wow, what an amazing thread with such a drastic plot twist at the end.
I really hope he’s alright.
His threads are such a gift to all of us and those who will come…

Ian
