Tube bumpers are pretty stout and functional but they are rough on the eyes. I'd rather build something custom to go with the lines of the 60's body.

I like the rear bumper compared to my bulky and heavy Kaymar. If I end up scraping the Kaymar alot on the rocks after my SOA I would be interested in buying one and selling my Kaymar.

Okay, I want one of these. What's the deal? Do I need to add this to the list of things that we need to stage a park-in at Marlin's for? (the toybox being the notable other so far)

BTW, Randy, I drug my kaymar all over the countryside with shot suspension, but it seems to be fine now and I'm still sprung under. It lacks rear quarter protection that these rears provide, unless you've pulled a pismojim and dealt with that.

I plan on doing something similar to PismoJim's setup in the future. If it looks like too much work I might just sell the Kaymar and get Marlin's. When I bought my truck I assumed I'd do all the fab work but I've realized that things I weld together are functional but ugly. I lack the patience to design something that looks good.

looks nice. watch for blocking any of the brake lights. It's tough without a 3rd brake light, so need all the brake light possible to keep from testing your bumper with another car...

keep it up - i bet they will sell like hot cakes if priced well.

whats the deal guys.

Wow I just realized my JK customs throw some metal together and make a rear bumper is the exact same as this one without the steel going around the lights.
