I have an `82 FJ60 and I need to find some trail armor.

Front bumper for a winch

Rear bumper with spare mount/fuel can carrier

Rock Sliders

Ant recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks, Kevin

I got mine from Trail Trailor and love it. Heavy duty compared to an ARB and understated. I like the OEM look and at the time I tried to get them to do something with the OEM bumper but was told that he had and he would not try it again. Happy with this bumper but I believe he does make something now that can integrate with your existing bumper. I will do sliders next.

Couple of in stock front bumpers at the moment. One with bull bar and one without. Rear would have a lead time.

My advice-
Find the bumpers and winch and sliders and roof rack you like --- then get the weights of all of them from the manufacturers.
Then---- Put all that weight in your truck via buckets of rocks, sand bags or lots of jerry cans of water and drive your vehicle around for a few weeks loaded up like that.

Betcha a nickle you're not going to be happy with what you experience.
All that weight is definitely a drag - literally.

Great suggestions so far. I'll add another: @Fourrunner here on the forum sells a rear bumper kit with optional swing outs and tire carrier that you weld up yourself. I've been running that for about four years now with great success. I have the @TRAIL TAILOR sliders and they're great. Bonked them on a handful of rocks too and they haven't even dented. Great build quality and excellent fit. The ARB is a classic front bumper, and any of the stuff made by the vendors that frequent the forum every day is excellent (otherwise they wouldn't still be around). CurrentlyI have what I think is a homemade bull bar style bumper with no winch provision on the front- it came with the truck. Personally I'm hot after the 4Plus front bumper from @lcwizard ... Lot's of other projects before I get there though. I do have a jerry can carrier from 4Plus that's adapter to Fourrunner's rear bumper swing out and it's a well made piece.

Wildcard: @Bump It Offroad is getting back in the game and I hear they'll have a 60 front bumper at some point.

Man, there's so many good folks on this forum that are making cool stuff.

@CruiserTrash is correct, Bump It Offroad is back in the game, you can check out a sweet rear bumper we made for a 60 here: Bump It Offroad (BIO) - Coming (Back) Soon - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/bump-it-offroad-bio-coming-back-soon.1351093/#post-15726501

As you can see, it is ready to handle your spare and some jerry cans with ease.

Front bumpers and sliders are on the table as well.

In the past we made this 60 front for @nakman and the Gamiviti 60:
