Magnusun supercharger installation

Well... They do exist. I have one in my hands in my shop that I am installing for a friend of mine. I have the TRD supercharger in mine and it all looks to be exactly the same. It is going on a super clean LX450. I'll post some pictures and anything else that seems interesting.

Other than the installation instructions this is all the paperwork that I have with the kit. So unless it is with the owner I do t see CARB stickers.

Good advise. I currently have a freshened up OEM fan clutch and a 3fe fan on mine that I am going to recommend we put on this one. I personally just received my Landtank 1hz modded clutch so I'll be putting that along with my factory fan back on mine.

I'm not sure the source, but it's some TRD place online. When he contacted them they had just received a shipment of 4 or 5. I think retail is something a bit over 4K.

The kit doesn't show up on the Magnuson site, but it looks like Underdog Racing Development has them!

it looks like the TRD stuff, just put the Toyota TRD SC stickers under your hood. I got a new set of stickers from a Toyota dealership in San Diego a couple of years ago. The parts girl did some research and they weren't in stock anywhere but she got someone in Toyota to print some more off.

I live in Ventura, CA, and ran into a local FZJ80 owner recently who had a SC installed on his rig over ten years ago. He said he had Magnuson do it themselves as it's a local shop (for us) and *he said* Magnuson actually made the supercharger which Toyota sold as their own TRD equipment. Whether that's true I have no idea, but I thought I'd pass it along.

Yes, Magnuson developed the TRD/Kazuma etc S/C. Mine has been installed for around 15 years now.
