Ordered the downpipe and second cat last night. I've been patching the exhaust over the last year, welding up holes as they pop up in both cats. But I broke the downpipe this past weekend while out wheeling at Rausch Creek. Funny thing is I did not hit the exhaust, but the twisting and such must have been too much for it. Thanks to PoorHouse for posting, you saved me a few bucks!

My order from Rockin4x4 arrived today. It also shipped direct from Magnaflow and was packaged exactly as shown by PoorHouse. This seller and price are legit.
I ordered Sept. 15 recieved confim. on Sept 17 shipped, and card was billed. It takes 5 days from Calf. to me. On Sept. 25, I emailed to Inquire. Sept. 26, New update Order shipped Again. I will let you know. Good Luck !

I just had my exhaust reworked on my 97 LX450 Creampuff. Went with the Magnaflow downpipe and stayed with the single cat. Cross over above the frame to the OEM muffler and cross over above the frame in the rear. Exit behind the rear wheel level with the frame and rear bumper. Gained a boatload of clearance on the entire right side of the truck. Slightly more noisy than stock, but not too bad. I am going to fab up a flat plate for protection.
According to the UltraGauge, she runs in open loop mode slightly longer when cold, but stays in closed loop for the duration of the drive. She throws no codes and runs well.

has anybody knocked the catalyst out of them, them being the brand new cats? we have emissions here, but it's real basic "no codes and you pass thing". i have one stud to remove and replace in the front manifold and then i'm ready to reassemble.

Go back one page.

I gutted my brand new Magnaflow Y-Pipe cat as well as the Bosal secondary cat.

6000+ miles and she has yet to throw a code

i couldn't bring myself to gut the front cat, but the second cat, a new magnaflow is probably going to get spayed.
i'm mildly flabbergasted at how well the magnaflow front pipes fit. additionally i fought like hell to get the old oem part out of the fender, the new went in the "hole" much much easier. so far this getting two thumbs, way up. now i don't have the rear cat in yet, but a dry run looks very promising.

I just ordered the Magnaflow Cat 23120 from the linked site, rockin4x4.com. For those that don't want to put in an email address, my 5% off code was Social5 (dammit, I didn't think to try Social10). Grand total was $246.36. I'm also going to get the VHT Flame Proof coating, replacing the rubber-block-looking hanger and I might go ahead and get Toyota gaskets for the manifold flanges and rear of the cat since I need a couple 02 sensor gaskets anyway. (Anyone have part #s handy?)

Mine is a '94, so we'll see how it fits and I'll post up my results. According to my 'Mud searches it should fit onto the manifolds so I'll just need to figure out what's happening between this new single cat and the original dual cat pipes. My 02 sensors are up in the PAIR ports now. I have a couple other smallish leaks further back so I might end up putting all new exhaust on at a shop or something. Time to research muffler choices now...

PoorHouse, you are the man!

( Are hashtags a thing here now? Should I have said #PoorHouse, you are the man?)

Recieved.. !

Received mine about ten days after ordering. I went about doing the R&R Friday evening, as I had a long day on Sat and needed the truck operational without the massive exhaust leak it had. Shockingly, the OEM hardware all came apart, so the whole job took about 4 hours. The down pipe and second cat fit perfectly, bolted right up to the stock muffler pipe. Drove the truck around 300 miles yesterday without issue.

y pipe and 2nd cat arrived today, and i hit them with the vht. kind of wishing i'd gone with black, but still turned out alright. talked to my exhaust shop this afternoon, and these are going on in the morning. thanks again for posting up the links for the sales.

After waiting 9 days I finally got tracking info last night. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of purchasing. Supposed to be here (PA) on Friday...

I wish they had this when I did mine two years ago, I went with a walker from advance back in January 2013 [388.90$]and now I have snapped a o2 sensor stud, it has rusted so bad.
luckily I kept my receipt and advance is replacing it or I would have ordered the magnaflow, looks a whole lot better than what I have :-(

Finally got it on. Definitely seems to have helped my hard idle vibration.

I bought a Walker for my Avalon and it lasted 1.5 yrs in Ohio Winters. Never Again!

"I used copper M8x1.25 flange nuts on both sensors."

I have not had any luck finding these 8x1.25 in brass or copper locally, guess I will have to use the factory ones I have this weekend and replace with the brass versions when I get them from the net.....

**EDIT** if anyone is looking for these, try the local BMW parts dept, I got mine there under p/n-18 30 7 620 549 **EDIT**

if it fails again in less than two years I will demand a refund and purchase the magnaflow, that job replacing it is no fun, considering the time plus getting all new gaskets for the converters / and manifold flanges etc.....especially since oem lasted 16yrs ..........
