Yeah they really are quite complimentary. The LS430's are getting to the point that they are an incredible deal.

If you haven't driven/ridden in one and are in the market go check them out, in the eco box price category but you get a lot of car! Only issue I can see so far is the parts prices are even worse than the 80 series.

Hmm... does seem like a good match.

I have a LS 400. The thing is solid and amazing on the freeway. Problem is it's boring.

If the oil is changed I can get 30mpg on the hwy with it and 20 mpg in the city

My 91 LS400 still runs like new. I am about to replace all of the seat covers and drive it for a couple of more years. I have never missed a regularly scheduled service or even oil change. The old adage about buying a top quality car and taking care of it holds true with an LS.

After having spent a few days on the Clublexus forum it really makes me appreciate how good we have it here. On mud there is actually good tech discussion, like minded people and normal conversation, I have found none of that in the LS430 forums yet. Seems like the biggest decision over there is 20's or 22's and who can make their car the most undriveable with ridiculous camber.... Ugh.

Lol, I started in their LX450 forum when I bought my rig 11 years ago. Luckily Northcaldoug frequented that forum from time to time and let the cat out of the bag there was a better forum option. Absolutely no comparison for amount of activity and technical content. That 450 forum can go weeks without a post.

Ha a turbo may happen but if it does I almost don't feel like sharing over there because it wouldnt be appreciated until I "slammed the car on bags and deuce deuce's" lol

Corrupt them.

Be the first to turbo, covert to 4WD, with 33" KM2s.

Yeah agreed, 3 days ago I asked about any known problem spots and what people are doing to base line and not a single answer.

Yep, i made the mistake of joining a lexus forum when i first got my LS. Nothing constructive at all other than everyone talking about stance, how big of a rim can you stuff in the slammed suspension and threads about getting stuck on speed bumps.....

Digging the new whip man. I hope one day I can buy a Lexus and call it my around town beater. I'm curious as to what motor is in that. I just got my wife a 2010 camry v6 (2GR-FE). It's supposedly putting out 268 hp. It sure is fun to drive, especially compared to my 10 minute quarter mile 80.

It has the 3uz-fe rated at 300hp and 325ft/lbs but the throttle pedal is very heavy to encourage smoothness and discourage hooliganism. Lol. I but you could have had a 2006 LS430 for the price of the Camry ;)

How is the truck running? I had some fun in the truck this weekend up in Austin with the owner of Johnson Performance, he has a ZO6 and he was following me to lunch and I gunned it leaving a light and he was caught off guard sitting there spinning. Was pretty funny. Didn't last long but was a good laugh when we got to the Mexican restaurant.

I've only ever lasted for 5 minute intervals over there . . .

I still need to find out whether that discount at Sewell Lexus is really any good . . .
