Going to start getting rid of the LV parts that were not needed for the restoration. First up is some headliner and trim, new in box - I used a troopy headliner for the Canadian LV as it fit better. Headliner is 109-100-SOR, and trim is 109-105.

Years ago I had mentioned that I just planned to give the extra LV parts I didn't need away to folks with ongoing restorations. The inspiration for this was from Semlin on this board who helped so many with the 'woods LV' (where was that, anyways - British Columbia IIRC?). It will be some time before I get around to sorting out the spare 'used' parts from the two donor LV's so I am just going to start with this stuff to get it out from underfoot.

The mud community and members have helped so much in pushing this project along, by inspiring, posting, sharing and making parts available over the years. I am not at all trying to say that people should just give away parts - it's just that I said I would do it years ago, so now I will. If anyone thinks I am being a dunce then just call me out on it, I can take it.

So, reply to this post if you can use these parts and tomorrow at some point a recipient will be drawn. The cost will be the ride from Calgary, Alberta, Canada via Canada Post with insurance and sent via paypal.

That is pretty dam cool of ya to do. I like how your troopy headliner turned out. I'll throw my hat in the ring as I could use a headliner for my wagon.

I'm continually amazed by the generosity of people on ih8mud.

Installing a new headliner is way down on my to-do list (I'm just trying to make it roadworthy at this point) but I could sure certainly make good use of the headliner and trim at some point down the line.

I'm in desperate need of a replacement heater core at the moment. Please let me know if by some miracle you have one lying around.

My LV could sure use these parts... thanks, this is a great thing you are doing.

Please consider me as well for the headliner. It is a very nice gesture.
Hope you are enjoying driving your LV. Guess the dream became a reality for you...
thanks
Garrett

What an awesome thing to do!
FWIW, I installed one of these SOR headliners in my 64 US-spec LV and it turned out great. I didn't know the Canadian LV's had removable roof bows/supports.

A random draw has just been conducted (folks with silver and gold stars got extra entries). Jack A came up the first time. Then we noticed that some had not been included so we drew again. Jack A came up again. Also, after manufacturing some of the entries (crumpled balls of paper) last night before all had replied, one fell out of the pile. You guessed it - Jack A. If I recall statistics correctly - with say 10 entries - the odds of that are one in a thousand. Jack A, the universe really wants you to have this so please pm me your mailing address and it will come right at you.
