I’ve been part of this group for several years making the interior panels for the FJ55.

For the first time since I started making these several years ago, I recently received a call that the retainer holes were not aligning up for the offset retainers and I was missing one retainer hole.

Unfortunately I no longer have the OE panels I started with and need to check my digitized template and make corrections where needed.

Any help on this would greatly be appreciated and possibly could provide a set of new panels to you.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Steve,

I have the original panels from my 1977 pig. Need to make sure they are in good enough shape for you. I'll try to get down to the shop and get some photos for you. FWIW I'm pretty sure the PO installed a set of your replacement panels because he didn't want to cut the original panels for speakers.

IF Greg not able to help I can remove mine from the project rig (also 77) . I did just purchase your door cards off another mudder here recently and was very pleased with the craftsmanship. I can't wait to get them in our PIG once the paint and body complete. I am hoping the clips/holes for a 69 match a 77.
Cheers
Jon

Thanks all I need is one front door and one rear door panel if possible. Let me know what you find out and I’ll take care of the shipping label or cost.
I think I still have the originals from my ‘74.

IIRC, some of the holes were off when I installed yours…
What did you do to mount the door panels? By chance did you communicate with me on this?

If I remember correct I sent you my stock panels one time to copy. Maybe 71 panels are a tad different than the newer ones. Seems mine fit fine.

Yes but that was towards the beginning of this journey. From what I learned were all the different year models the door panels were all equal as far as the retainer holes goes.

The cargo panels from 74 and earlier are the same retainer holes. They changed in 75 to newer with different retainer holes.

When this is all sorted out I may want to purchase a complete set. My current panels are different than normal. They have a TEQ logo on them and don’t have arm rests.

Hey Blast,
By the looks of the door pull, is that a '69? I don't think they came with arm rests, could be wrong. I'd pull a panel off to see if the mounting holes are there before ordering.

Those logos are sweet. I would have a hard time replacing them.

@a1500ram if I didnt have ABS panels I would buy from you. Just because I have seen the quality and the fact that you have after sale support. Plus just making my own with the abs, I know I wouldnt want to do it again. I am sure you got fancy jigs or CNC, but doing it the luddite way was panful.
