Back on the #2....now with Troopy 'home', we need to get #2 into the wiring phase. Almost there....going to make a big push over the next 2 weeks I think to tidy up the loose ends.
The 76 that donated its interior didn't have a sub tank....so no sub tank light or gauge to tell you when you are on the sub tank.....my tech came up with a slick setup. We'll tie this in so it is in normal green illumination with lights on or on main tank:

Then when you switch over to the sub tank, it will illuminate red...regardless if the dash lights are on or not. Pretty cool...great idea.

I feel like we crested the big hill today with the trans/transfer going in for final.....pretty stoked about it. With this in, it's time to really push to get this into the wiring stage. Can't wait....once that's in, I can start final assembly of interior.....build an exhaust and then drive this thing.
Flywheel that came with 1HZ motor.

I stuck with the 275mm....hoping it's going to be OK. I'm pretty easy on my stuff and I don't think I'll be really running the boost up in this motor.

It's one of the larger trans/tranfer combos I've installed.....a little different with the bell housing attached to the trans on a Land Cruiser for us....used to 3FE/4speed combos in 40s.

It fit like it was made for this thing....
