I think they look really cool on the Troopy.....if I had one and didn't have the sub tank, I'd just fill that corner in, LineX them and call it a day. The cutout would bother me immensely. But I'm weird.
Or maybe some kind of mount for something back there would be cool.....shore power connection, water fill, air connection, hot water output for shower or maybe even something cool I don't know about or know that I need......there's a lot of that!
When tanks get added the filler usually ends up in that area, albeit without a factory door.

When I ordered from kutsnake this was 1 of my concerns. They told me to use a heat gun pop out the indentation. They did mention I would most likely have to prime and paint. I'm gonna try this, just not to that point yet. Mike

Didn't even think about using a heat gun to reverse the indent. Good idea.
I'm thinking a satin black smooth texture on the flares would be pretty cool. Maybe sprayed with a really smooth bedliner coating so they're durable. We have a 40 in the shop that has an exterior done in smooth bedliner...it's pretty damn cool.

Thanks to @cruiserjunktion and my techs, I have been on a mission to find a hot water pressure washer to clean some of these dirty motors that we get in for our 3FE swaps(as well as all the other dirty crap we deal with on these trucks). Found one on CL and made the haul across the state to get it. It's an older one but it's a good one.
This one runs on 110 for the pump, kerosene for the burner. 1000psi, water temp is 120 degrees over what comes out of the spigot. There are steam pressure washers and hot water ones(and some that are both). Sometimes hot water pressure washers are mistakenly referred to as steam pressure washers and vice versa. They are definitely 2 different systems. Steam pressure washer guys will swear by their systems, hot water pressure washer guys will swear by theirs. I'm happy with the one I got...does exactly what I need. Parts come out SUPER clean with minimal effort. Our point of cleaning is that we're cleaning so we can paint....so there is still some hand prep needed but if you were to use it to clean some gnarly parts for servicing, this thing would be perfect. I've used standard pressure washers for years....grease never really gets fully cleaned off...even with chemicals. Not with this thing.....grease is melted away. Pretty cool.

I never knew I needed one! @cruiserjunktion helped to get me woke. Ha.
We generally don't get crusty things in the shop.....unless it's a Land Cruiser. We've always managed but due to the volume now, this should make things much easier to clean.

I really like the Bradley V's! If I didn't have OEM 16" steels, I would for sure go that route.

It's my truck. Since I already have a 79 with OEM flares, I thought I'd give these flares a go. Not my favorite but they're better in some ways than OEM and were easier to get since we're bringing these flares pretty regularly. Unfortunately the way the axle fits the body in the rear, it needs a flare. My preference would be no flares.
The flares on this truck are going to go along nicely with how this truck will end up....it's not really going to be a stock looking truck.
