Leather Samples, Cleaning, Possible Group Buy - seat covers?

My LSeat Front seats just arrived today. The color is spot on and the grain is slightly off. It's not bad, just not an perfect match. Has anyone completed a leather swap DIY? I'm wondering how long I should estimate.

I looked at their site, they have directions, but they are for a 80 series. I imagine it's close enough to use it as a good example. I'll use the other Lexus site for a lx470 example as needed.

Subscribed, I am very interested in the price.

Subscribed also. Would be interested in first two rows on grey interior 98 LC. Curious how pricing will stack up against LandCruiserHeaven. Prefer local work and install so this could be a great option.

yeah, i really want that pocket in my front seats, 2000 LX470 grey interior, let me know when you get a firm price...hopefully around Christmas or end of july (my birthday) lol

Guys try this product called eco-orange. That stuff cleans anything. Light colored vehicles the hard stains instantly comes off. Price range between $60-$80 a gallon. Put like 3 to 4 oz in a bottle and full with water. Shake it up then spray and wipe.

You can check out Roadwire leather. They sell a package of first two rows installed. MSRP $1700 + tax. I had my grey leather done at Christmas. Went through local shop who uses Roadwire and got a better price ($1500 + tax) installed.

This shop is not in Austin, and not really a shop, but one of my wholesale manufacturers I've been dealing with to find "close as possible" replacement covers for my personal truck. Currently, the wholesale cost of the hide we sourced is $300 each, and then matching Ultraleather was purchased too. Just material alone Iam already into this project for $600 ish dollars.

As for the steering wheel, I really wanted the four spokes covered, so we are still working on that.

We are still crunching numbers to see how many hides he would need to buy to get the purchase price down. And he has not really giving me a firm price yet on labor to create the covers.

Thanks for working on this! I would be interested in front seat covers, console cover, and steering wheel. For the covers, do we have to sew those on ourselves?

UPDATE:

My contact does not want to work on a true "Group buy" cost for us. At this point, I would recommend using one of the other vendors that we support. He supports Auto Dealers in Houston, and I just think we are too small for him to deal with. He was talking with me due to the fact we have a mutual friends.

FOR YOU LOCALS - He is not in Austin.

Sorry I could not pull this off...but I'll keep working on him.

I know this is for covers, but I've got to give a shout out to Tuff Stuff for cleaning if you're not on the recovering path. Pretty impressive results.

I have my lseat mounted and they look great. I still have the old leathers, if anyone needs them. They are crack, but no holes. Let me know.

Hello all, we are the shop located in Houston, TX. Unfortunately we never heard back from mmw68, we are known on several forums for doing group buys and setting up deals with enthusiast. It took us quite some time to find the original factory leather and materials. We have been selling the steering wheel covers for quite some time now. PM us with any questions!
