More like 400lb; the curb weight spec on Toyota's website is wrongAlso, the 250 is close to a 1000lbs lighter than the 200 series.

I agree. I wish Toyota would bring more light tan interiors to their SUVs/trucks instead of just black, grey, or brown.UAE LC250 with light interior. Wish we had some lighter interior options in the US…

You are not imagining it, it is real. The 2.4 iForce Max powertrain makes 465 lb.-ft @ 1700rpm. The 3UR 5.7L makes 401 lb.-ft @ 3600rpm.
That 2.4 makes big block levels of torque, basically similar torque at a lower RPM than my 8.1L Vortec in my K2500 Surburban. With the benefit of way more gears too.
jury is out on that one, ours has been sitting at 16.1 MPGBut wait, there's more.
It also gets way better MPG.
did they make those chrome too?who it going to get the part number for those steel wheels?
29 gallon fuel tank; nice. The cheapest land cruiser prado 250 in Qatar costs around $48.6k vs $62.6k for the most basic triple locked 1GR 300.
They call the trim level "classic"
It is extremely basic, even more basic than other base models in neighbouring countries.
In order to keep the price low it doesn't have a rear locker/crawl control/cool box.
It has a basic screen/carplay/rear camera and rear air/third row. No rear pintle hook (I'm betting though behind the bumper you could find the holes for it and a simple fix would be to cut a hole or get a bumper with pintle hook hole).
You can get these missing options on base models in nearby countries like Kuwait or Saudi but for a higher price.
Either way it's definitely cheaper than I expected.
I would never get a 250 over the 300 though its tempting I won't lie. That new feeling is nice, the 300 is the most common vehicle on the roads so it isnt as unique and due for a facelift soon so it's definitely dated but once the hype dies down, the 300 will always remain...top dog.
Side by side 300 is definitely bigger. Inside they aren't that far off size wise.
Not a fair comparison. The 250 is an excellent entry "Land Cruiser" & in many ways its currently a more competitive product than the big LC but that should be fixed with the facelift.

noooow its yours
So the diesel is rated at 33 mpg. What's the fuel tank size on that spec?2024 Prado 2.8T Diesel with Third Row. Some jealous overseas countries don't have diesel and a third row

Not much you can really do about it. I had the same problem with my 4Runner. 3 windshields in 2 years of ownership.I was afraid of that...that vertical windshield is going to be a rock chip magnet.![]()

Can’t speak on the FJ but I could see it being the same way. A lot of it depends on how and where you’re driving along with luck. I ended up just getting the $100 deductible for glass replacement on my insurance policy. Totally worth it for $12 a year.Wasn't the FJ Cruiser esp prone to windshield damage as well?
I briefly looked into a windshield film that one could apply but all roads lead to nothing conclusive worth pursuing.
