I’m throwing open country AT3s. I have wildpeak at3 on my cayenne and they got Loud after 3k miles but I like the look and ride!
I run the Falken AT3's on my F-350 and 80 series, both in the 35" size. I have roughly 80,000 miles between the two sets and they are as quiet, round and comfortable as the day I bought them. The wife's 100 will get a set of AT4's when it is due for new tires. Absolutely fantastic tire IMHO.

I have had mine for a week and a half now. Had the dealer put on 275/70R18 KO3s and the rear rubber mat. Otherwise, only options were the port installed door edge guards and rubber mats. Got it at MSRP @ Inver Grove Toyota (talk to Laurie). I had a deposit put down shortly after announcement. I think I was #12 on the list and I believe this was the third truck they brought in (one FE and one other 1958). I wanted a 1958.

Took it up north on a mountain biking trip. Mileage wasn't great (18.6 MPG on the first tank using fuely), but I think I am seeing improvements with time. Not a lot of interstate, so speed was a little up and down. Odometer hasn't been corrected for new tires, but 5% difference in diameter only takes me to 19.5 MPG. When I have checked the odometer against mileage markers, it seems like it is more like 2.5-3% off.

The hybrid motor doesn't seem to kick in very often. Maybe I am not driving aggressive enough, but when I do accelerate, it seems to fire up for a second and then back off. Expected a bit more oomph from it. When using cruise control, it seldom kicks in.

Compared to my other (real) Land Cruiser, the powertrain is great. Full time 4WD will be great in the winter. Noticeably more power and torque. Handling is better, requires a lot less input at speed. I am not a race car driver, but I think the top end will be higher too. Tech is a significant improvement. Cargo area is much improved. The 250 smells better (unless you like the smell of gas) and seems to be marking its territory less with oil and other fluids. Both make me smile while driving, but for completely different reasons.

How's the wind noise?
It’s there but much less than I expected. Not too loud at all, and mainly noticed an increase when a gust switched to head on. Didn't really hear it below 50-55mph. I’ve only had it up to 65-70 so far. Will need some more miles to get a feel for it, but overall I think the noise is fairly low to me. No whistles or high pitches, more of a low whoosh similar to the wind noise already there before the install.

Picked up the LC in LC trim tonight. First thing I checked was to see if my rear lower control arm brace/skids would fit. They bolted right up, but I'll need to check for clearance when flexing this out.

Next thing to do will be to make some proper skids for it.

As someone with your background and intimate knowledge of the 200 beef, how does the 250 compare where it matters (frame/suspension/drivetrain)?

Attended the launch for the new Prado in Bahrain. Thought i would share some info + photos.

Available trims & prices (including %10 VAT):
• All Rounder - Standard: BHD 20,350 (≈ $54,052)
• All Rounder - Mid: BHD 22,550 (≈ $59,895)
• All Rounder - Diesel: BHD 23,650 (≈ $62,817)
• All Rounder - First Edition: BHD 23,650 (≈ $62,817)
• Adventure: BHD 26,070 (≈ $69,245)
• Adventure High with ACC Diesel: BHD 26,950 (≈ $71,582)
• Adventure - First Edition: BHD 26,950 (≈ $71,582)

For context, the 300 series currently starts around 27K BHD (≈ $72K). Interestingly, the brochure shows a poverty spec "Standard" with steelies and round headlights but those aren't actually available in Bahrain.

The base "all Rounder" have cheaper rectangular headlights, smaller screens, fabric seats, no Toyota's safety sense, no SDM and no rear diff lock. A First Edition is also offered for both grades, those had round headlights, unique badges, bumper guards and slightly wider Toyo Tyres Open Country AT III instead of the usual Dunlop Grandtrek AT30s.

All Rounder - Standard (base model)
