It's going to be on TNGA-F as well so that bit is unsurprising.Looks to be roughly the same size as the 250 which brings us back to possibly showroom confusion.

Fair enough but then what? I know you don't know but still......they can't put that of a much smaller engine in it. They can't lower the cost to be that much less than the 250.It's going to be on TNGA-F as well so that bit is unsurprising.
Thanks. I've noticed it in a few pictures and thought maybe it's just the lighting or camera white balance or whatever. But in those you can see it next to the grey ones. As long as it doesn't rust - I don't much care what it is (other than my general nerdiness about stuff like that). I had a few of the skid plate bolts on my 2015 4Runner rusting super fast. Others didn't seem to corrode at all with no apparent difference in the hardware other than location. My wish list for next gen was better hardware rust prevention on the skid plate bolts so I didn't have to tap out the holes and replace weld nuts so often. Maybe Toyota has something new?Good question. IT looked like the standard cad grey (not silver) BUT had some red hue too it. That LC250 is absolutely a pre-production so we can't assume that those will be production hardware.
I have been out of cell/internet service for a week and was super disappointed to click on this thread tonight and see these disrespectful and uninformed comments. I hate arguing with people on the internet, but it is distasteful to talk about a true legend who works tirelessly for our enthusiast community this way.
If you're still reading this far, I wanted to touch on why Kurt is such an incredible asset and advocate for our community. He's too humble to brag on the internet, or in any context for that matter, but he has:
- Traveled all 7 continents in a Land Cruiser as part of Expeditions 7
- Crossed the Greenland ice sheet in a Land Cruiser
- Expedition Overland lead navigator
- Owner / Operator of Cruiser Outfitters
- Board member of Land Cruiser Heritage Museum
- Tread Lightly Master Tread Trainer
- Vice President of I4WDTA
- Race driver for Baja 1000, Mint 400, UROC, and more
- Wasatch Cruiser Club and Expedition Utah leader and mentor
I know there's more I'm missing, but on top of all of this, he's one of the nicest people I have ever met and cares tremendously about our shared passion. Our community should be grateful for people like Kurt and be supportive. It's easy to throw out opinions online without the full context, but Kurt is out there making our off road future better.
Damnit @cruiserdan stop being so rational!! And isn’t it past your bedtime!
fog lightFor those of you not in North America, what is this little light that I’m seeing on the Prado badged 250’s? It’s only on the left side. NA trucks do not have it.

The suspension components look Identical to the Tacoma version. If so, would some of the TRD pro parts bolt on to the 250?I thought about splitting this thread into two different new threads. One that stays on target for photos, and the other one that gives folks an outlet for tears and to share their 100 vs 105 expertise
I'll share pics instead.

Can we please get back to more photos - I am completely torn between the round lights and rectangular lights, and cannot wait to see what the aftermarket brings (ARB, Ben @ Dissent, etc).
Saw that - looks tough! How about some Dissent renders of the GX with the new LX600 Front Bumper we are working on

How does that work in your market. Is it a switchable light or is it always on?fog light
it annoys me how its only one on side though and not part of the tail light assembly.
on the 300 it is part of the tail light assembly so you don't notice it + works both sides.
I live in deer country. If I was going to get an aftermarket bumper it would need to have a hoop that protects the radiator and lights. I realize that other people have different priorities. How about some Dissent renders of the GX with the new LX600 Front Bumper we are working on
