@Somebodyelse5 Nice looking rig! Who's awning and sides is that? How do you like it for camping in? What kind of setup and teardown time does it take?

It's the ARB 2500 X 2500 awning with the ARB Deluxe Awning Room with Floor (813108A). It's great, I really like it. We use it as a living room and still sleep on the drawers in the back of the cruiser. No complains so far.

Setup is surprisingly quick once you get the hang of it. Definitely easier with two people but it's manageable by yourself. We can get the awning itself set up/tore down in under 5 minutes. The room is best setup with an extra person to help slide the round strip on the room into the channel on the awning base... but from then on, pretty simple. I have a stop motion video of setup that I am trying to figure out how to post

@fjdiesel forgot to add, I have it mounted to the factory roof rack with some 3/8" thick X 3" wide aluminum brackets I fabbed up real quick. they've worked perfectly so far, I will snap some pictures

Tailgate Storage Version 1, needs some fine tuning for the next go... but so far this works pretty well. I'd really like to retrofit a tailgate lift assist, the tailgate gets pretty heavy full of junk. Not bad for a free piece of plywood huh?

This is my assistant.... she loves hanging out in the cruiser

Built my own attic rack. The PS bracket could be a little better, but for my first go it worked pretty well. Used a metal shelf from HD that I reinforced and modified to fit. Super useful so far. (ignore the dog butt!)

This bracket needs some work, I didn't get the angles quite right and the shelf interferes a bit with the plastic trim.

@SouthJerseyJim Here you go sir! I ordered the 3/8" thick Al plate from mcmaster carr for a few bucks, used some 5/16 T-bolts, matching nuts and washers, and the hardware that comes with the awning. I drilled the holes in the plate a bit oversized to give me some wiggle room. If I were to do it again, I might go with the shorter awning, the big overhand forward of the roofrack looks a little goofy, but it should be a lot less funky looking once I build my roof rack and can get the rack tucked down and back a little. With the mounting setup I have now, position is dictated by interference in the back when the hatch opens.

(Ignore my nasty looking factory rack, it's days are numbered...the brown truck delivered a JMR tube bender and 1 1/4" dies the other day:) )

Looks great. Going to copy this design for sure.

This is going to be my next project... I'd really like to mount my cooler (Yeti Tundera 50) off the back of my slee ladder swing out, here is what I am currently planning on doing...

But I need to finish getting the tube bender mounted up first ;)
