I’m still a fan but fortunately, or unfortunately, coronavirus has shattered my desires to take on a large car payment. Plus I really like this cruiserWe all know his obsession with Jeeps lately.

Yeah, agreed. I've been embracing it for a couple years now - function over form right? One of my biggest arguments with myself against wheeling a 200 or new Tacoma or whatever is just how bad it feels to scratch up a $30K+ vehicleIs it weird that if there’s maybe a few of those deep long scratches on the side of the truck, it bothers me, but when there are a million of them it starts to look okay? Kinda digging the pinstripe look.

That seasoned look is an acquired taste. Good on you for using it right.
For all you guys that are into paint correction and stuff:

Time to buy an orbital polisher or something
This is 100% truth. The biggest issue with polishing the striping away is that eventually it wears the paint away. I can just about see through the paint to the primer on my white 100 in a few spots from the compounding/polishing the previous owner(s) did.
Even my windows have pinstripesThanks for all the advice guys. I think I'm going to wash it and then make a decision on whether I'll do a little polishing or just embrace it. I've been embracing it for 4 years now so why stop?
Even my windows have pinstripes somehow

Don't know if this is that interesting but here's a little video of some time in the San Rafael Swell this week. No music, just threw some clips together. I need to bring a camera operator so I can get other shots besides GoPro..
This is a little bit of some random roads as well as the middle portion of the Devil's Racetrack running north to south, for my fellow Utahns

Still looks better than mine!Looks like mine did after a recent trip to Alabama. I was wondering what kind of stripes you were picking up in that video
I don't hate pinstripes, but I really like nice paint. If I had to pay for a full correction twice a year, I probably wouldn't do it. But, if you can do a $500-$1000 correction yourself, it's not a big pain to keep it nice* throughout the year. You can use a nice coating to help prevent some of that stuff, but it's still going to scratch.
*Nice is a relative term, and anyone planning on doing any wheeling with their truck needs to realize it's never going to be the same cosmetically.
