I actually buried power with the same trencher, on the same day. Easy!!
Thanks @1911. i actually have the pex crimp tool!! Funny I did not think it could be a direct burial. youre correct on depth and using pex makes it a quick easy jobWhat I did also.
@knuckle47 , use PEX line for your water. You can direct-bury it without conduit and it is super easy to cut and connect (though you will need to buy or borrow an appropriate crimping tool). Trenchers are rated on how deep they can trench; smaller ones will only go 2' deep but you want your water line deep enough so that it won't freeze in the winter, so probably more than 2' where you live I'm guessing.

Al for the first time in my wife’s life, she gets to park in doors. There is no small amount of rehab work to be done in the garage. But it’s still indoor parking@Michael B when in my garage, I could never use the exact same parts washer. It was ALWAYS covered with other junk. It became another work bench/tabletop.
my garage is 25x28 and we are turning it into a room for TV and hangouts. Bringing the floor up level with the main part of the house since the ceiling is high enough. It will still have a 9’ ceiling height.
will you just use the garage now as intended? In 44 years, we never did.
Today was another milestone day for me. I moved the last piece of equipment from the garage to the shop. I had been dreading moving the parts washer. It went better than I thought no major messes or accidents.
You are correct, that it would not have helped yesterday. But it is a good idea and I will look into this mod soon. I’m trying to keep everything on the shop floor mobile. Thanks for the idea!Probably wouldn't have helped with your move but someone gave me this parts washer they had mounted on a HF furniture dolly. Makes it fairly easy to move around on hard floor.

I have not. I don’t usually buy plates unless there is a need for them. Most of the ones on display are old plates I either used or picked up along the way. A few were given to me.Do you ever go to the swap meet in Lineville? Usually a couple of big license plate sellers there if you're looking for more. Always first Sat in Nov.
All I can see is searing hot surfaces in the summer sun!The Bat Mower was delivered yesterday. It’s my first zero turn.
Al my Husqvarna was 20 years old and still running strong. But it was taking an hour and a half to cut my acre yard. The new one has me down to 45 mins first time out. I think after I get used to the controls I can get the job done in 30 mins. At this stage in my life, time is a precious commodity. That’s a beauty….I’ve always wanted and need one…trouble is the 54” Husqvarna looks a little ratty since it caught fire over some leaves 5 years ago. It starts easily, cuts like a champ and I save $5k for the Land Cruiser instead.
I store it inside, so hopefully the heat issue will be mitigated. All I can see is searing hot surfaces in the summer sun!![]()
