Which stuff? Do you mean the heat shield mentioned in that thread I linked?

Also looks like @Ozark cruiser coated your LRA tank? Anything special he used on that?
Sorry. Yeah it seems like that guy uses the same stuff.

It’s not on mine I don’t think.

Oh I meant the black finish on yours. Mine came from LRA silver. Was just curious if Jason re-coated yours with something. Maybe they come from LRA black now.
It be silver

Never had my pump cut off. Both times it has happened to me were after a least of hour of crawling in 4 low with outside temps in the 80-90 degree range. Both tanks pretty full because we're starting a long journey. No CEL at 9k ft but I did get one the second time it happened at around 5k feet on Elephant Hill trail.
Yes that is a similar scenario with my small LRA on a previous trip, happened near Mt Rushmore and in July.

I clarified my post, the gas station pump has cut off a couple of times during fill up indicating it is full, when in actuality it is not hardly full.

First time I blamed it on my teenage son after he filled up my wife’s 200 on a trip, then the same happened to me on a 200 with the 40 gallon LRA tank, a bit later the CEL came on for a couple of days. Was not at elevation but was 100* on a hot interstate after a few hours of driving.

Now back to Nolan doing cool things to his 200 without worrying the masses!

I regret bringing it up, you have to be cautious in the 200 forum!

Ah, makes sense.

Yeah Nolan's always doing cool things with LCs. Seems like I'm always working on something with mine, but what he's doing is always way more cool.

Shouldn’t be anything to be concerned about, the success is in the install, as you well know it’s the most useful mod available for a 200-250 mile range 200 series.

I had a 12 gallon on my 20’ HE and have the 40 gallon on the 21’, the 24 is the best choice!

So I figured while I was doing all of this baseline work to my 200 is go ahead and replace my tires.

I’ve been running 285/70-18 Recon Grapplers. They are super quiet, work good off road but they don’t do much for me in the looks department.

I decided to get a set of Yokohama X-ATs but I upped it one size to 295/70-18.

Well, true to Yokohama these things are way bigger than the ones they replaced. The specs said they would be .4 taller and wider but I think it’s more a full inch bigger.

They rubbed everything with no spacers.

Fast forward a week and the 1.5” Spidertrax spacers hit from Slee.

I tried them on today and the rubbing was worse. Mainly all in the front mud flap area.

I took them off and did some high speed driving over the rough powerline on my property and then twisted it up on my suspension spot.

I still have a tiny bit of rubbing at the bolts that used to hold the mudflaps. These things are big.

They look great. Hopefully I did not mess up with these. It’s wild because the 285s only rubbed a tiny bit on the front left backing up before.

I think you’ll be happy with those tires. I’ve sold Jason a few sets with positive reviews. I think the 295 is a perfect fit on the 200s unless you just have to go to full 35s. I often contemplate stepping down to 295s on my next set from 35-12.5s.

How do your brand 35’s measure out? These being 34” true is about the size of most 35s I’ve seen.

Do yours rub?

Maniac

Stick with em! You might try a 1” or 1.25” spacer. 1.5” is like 20mm effective offset. You’ll just have to see how close you get to the KDSS ram.
I put Spidertrax 1.25” spacers on. It is not hitting the KDSS

It did before in reverse with the 285s.

I haven’t measured my 35s loaded on the 200, but Mickey runs full size. Mickey lists them at 34.5 actual and 12.8 wide.

Mine will rub if your try hard enough, never enough to worry about though and it just polishes the KDSS. I’m on a wide wheel with bigger offset though. I cut my body Mount and trimmed the fenders nicely.
