Tire mounted

I mounted my jack on the spare. One bolt through the lug hole. Held up well for a year so far. Not Ideal but a quick fix. Jeff

When we were stalking the Rainforest Challence, I spotted the Philippine competitors sporting the high-lift on the rear bumper attached with very fast shackles..

Adventurous greetings,
Coen

This is Exactly what I wanted to do.
Cheers,

It took a while, but the solution is here! The fjMount! fjmount.com: Home It works using the two existing Phillip screw holes in the windshields folding hinge while the jack is supported on the running board. A great solution to a common problem, “Where to put that jack?” The nice thing about this system is you can mount 2 jacks on either side of the truck in as little as a 7”x4” space!
Better late then never!

Looks nice, great job. You really dive in with both feet, don'tcha, slick website too.

... of course, one does wonder why a company with a single product needs an 8 digit part number.:grinpimp:
Passenger side part number DS-81347178,
Driver side part number PS-81347179

Is there a provision to lock the jack? Won't do me any good to leave the jack at home because of thieves.

Also checked out the website of the stocking dealer. The mount isn't shown there. How much does this mount cost?

And a general question of all these mounts... Do the doors strike the jack if the travel too far?

Thanks for the compliments! There is a locking mechanism in the works; the doors do not make contact with the jack at all. Classic Cruisers Home should have all the info up on their website including pricing by Monday.

I have seen this mount and truck in person - looks great, very sturdy

cost for this bracket?/

any ideas on cost??

I looked for a good commercial version and ended up building my own. Yours looks great and I would have purchased one if I hadn't already built one. My question is; Do the hinge pins clear the body down at the bottom of the jack? The first one I built to stay snug to the body made the pins too close to the body for my comfort.

Good question, the top bracket keeps the jack far enough away from the body and lined up on the running board. The SS clevis pins and foam barrier tape keep the base from sliding a round, also the washers and hitch pins keep the base snug and secure.

Don’t forget, we also make a drivers side kit when your ready to add a second jack to your truck! :)

By the way, nice truck!

From the Web site.... "My soul intention was to build..."

Suggest "sole" (single) intention....

Good Luck with the sales.

Good Point. This didn't even dawn on me....

Springtail has some plans in the works to tackle this application. I can't divulge much other than it should be pretty simple and therefore reasonable in price.

Since we are in the middle of the teardown of our FJ40 project and my engineer is pulling his hair out on corporate projects ....I would expect to see something in early spring.
