Well that's the thing, I can see the indicator on the dash for front and rear locks, I bought the switch and installed it today never cam with the oem switch I plugged it in I just don't know if I have triple lock, any way to tell if you do?
Do you have the factory wiring book? You're gonna need it.
There's no Locker ECU for the switch to connect to, putting the switch in just allows power to route over to the locker ECU plug.
From that plug you need to create or modify a harness to run lockers of some sort that you put in the axels.

:rolleyes:That's what this entire thread has been about... Adding after market lockers.
In this case Harrop E-lockers; but you can add air lockers, and have them controlled from the magic dial, and have the OEM lights work. If that's what you want.
Here's the wiring diagram:

Nice work.

In case you'd like to interlock those with the CDL (like from the factory) you can wire the Harrop relays like this:

My apologies, Electrics are not my strong point.
For the Center Diff interlock setup, Pin 15 needs to be connected to the Ground on BOTH Harrop relays yes? Also @slopoke mentioned needing to add a diode to prevent the CDL lamp being dimmed, is this also correct?

Yes and yes.
The ground side of both relays would be connected together, after the diode as per the diagram in post #24.

Thanks mate I really appreciate it.

So the grounds of the relays aren't actually grounded just joined together, then the diode, then pin 15?

Sorry again 😅

That's correct. Pin 15 of the factory connector is grounded when the CDL is confirmed locked.

Of course the diode is directional; banded side toward the connector.

You're a bloody legend mate, thanks for your time.
One last (probably silly) question...
Will a 1 Amp Diode do the trick?
Thanks again!

Yep, something like a 1N4001 will be just fine.

Last but not least I made up these wiring schematics using the actual wire colours

Hi, I've tried to get this going but I don't have the wiring diagram for the harrop relay. Do you have a detailed diagram of what wires go where on the harrop relay for the rear locker? I've found all the other wires but can't get the switch to work as I'm missing that key part. Thanks heaps

This is what I understand for the Eaton wiring. But you specifically mention Harrop which may be different wiring if yours is truly a Harrop (older). Harness for front and rear are the same.

I believe you just mount that…no connections made at that end.

Guys this thread is what I have been looking for a while. But Jesus what a headache!!! I thought I had everything I needed to do my installation.. wish me luck.

Glad you found it useful. :)

So after 5 pages of utter confusion, it appears that no 5 pin harness is needed just the Eaton harness, the factory magic button and lockers. Is that the conclusion I should come to? Zuk just build my rear 3rd. Getting ready to send him my front. Both have Eaton’s.
