Got the H41 and splitcase (with ebrake) on with some major help from my buddy, Lee (@Sea Knight ). I'll get the small stuff back on tomorrow and take it on a test drive. Man my back is killing me.

Good to see Lee around! There's a lot of people in the 40 section wondering if he is going to keep writing his Rust Bucket thread.

Are you going to Round Up?

Me? I wish. We moved to Georgia a couple years ago...we don't have that kind of time right now.

Look what came in today!

Quick update. I had to split the t-case due to me not positioning the hi/low linkage correctly. That wasn't too bad. What pissed me off was the gushing out of gear oil when I was filling it. I got the wrong year output seal :( Anyway, she's back together and the lower H41 first gear really makes a difference on how truck takes off now.

I couldn't rotate it and had to disassemble. That didn't take too long, but was just a pain in the butt working under the rig on my back. I did have to add a spacer under the arm while I had it out. Shifts nice and easy now.

Here's the long list of stuff left.
- Finish FJ60 transmission crossmember install.
- FJ60 front knuckles with disk brakes.
- FJ60 power steering, new high steer setup with FJ80 TRE's
- Rear disk brake conversion using Poser's brackets.
- Finish exhaust. Need the over the axle tail pipe section bent up.
- Finish AC install.
- Fix rusty floor boards, body mounts, and install new polyurethane mounts.
- Install 3x4 tube rocker sliders after cutting out rusty rocker sections.
- Clean out interior and line the floor with Monstaliner.
- Figure out what I'm going to do with the headliner. Monstalined or carpeted?

That will keep you busy for a while. I really like the Monstaliner instead of a headliner, no more poking holes in the liner.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm eager to see what you do with your roof supports. Did you end up redoing them?
