Thank you. I adjusted the throttle, and shift cable a while back. Throttle had a lot of slack. Shift only a little. Idle still sticks.

It may just need a new cable. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s got some funk.

We’ll, I smogged it today. Passed! Paid CA reg in my name. I’m legit, LC is legit. I’m sad the Montana permanent plates are coming off.. but it’s mine now, and I’m in CA.

The smog guy wasn’t going to pass as the idle was high. He sprayed some WD in the throttle cable. Sticking went away. Now idles about 500/600rpm.

I posted a few photos in another thread, but I’d like them on my main thread for documentation.

Turned a $4.99 curtain, 20 zip ties, and an hour of time into a custom middle seat cover for my 50:50 seats.

Local shops wanted something like $800 avg. to repair my seat.
