I had to try a spot after work. 1500grit on the peeling clear, followed with a buff, and wax. I did the drivers fender, and a small square on the hood. Very quick job, still has some swirling. Now I know I mist do the whole LC and take my time…

I took the kids to school this am in the LC. As I Was telling them not to play with the windows, because the motors are old my drivers window stops working. Today I pulled it apart to put a new motor/regulator in. I was able to grease it, and it’s working great again! It was bound up due to the 33 year old “grease.”

While in there I cleaned, and installed sound deadening.

I’ll be doing that to the three other doors in the near future.

I also noted I’ll be able to re-upholster the vinyl on my door cards. They currently have duct tape covering the claw marks.

This weekend was a bust. One kid was sick, my wife was busy with work, and no one seemed interested in going anywhere. So instead supplemental exhaust hanger hung. Cat shield placed. Stereo deck, door speakers, and subwoofer installed. Evaporator refreshed. Trim repaired, and reinstalled. New wipers. Finally, the exterior was buffed, and ceramic coated. The interior trim was cleaned and coated.

Need to finish wrapping the exhaust near the TC. Install the new power antenna. Switch over the AC from the R12 to newer refrigerant.

Still throwing the 22 code. I bought a duralast coolant sensor. It doesn’t fit. The electric connection isn’t right. I ordered up a AC Delco sensor today. Hopefully it fits. I’m ready to be done!

There are two coolant temp sensors, one for the gauge cluster and the one for the ECM.

Thanks man! I’ll swap that bad boy out. Is it the same location for the 3fe motor?
That I do not not know. I keep forgetting you have an earlier model LC.
