For those with Digital Dakota Dashes,
Where did you mount your push button momentarily switches?

I'm trying to determine if I should mount these on the dash and maybe purchasing some switches that are a little nicer.

How long are the leads to the switches. I am considering mounting them and the main box on/in my under seat toolbox.

Very old post, but if you don’t smoke use the cigarette lighter and use a double throw momentary switch, here’s mine, 67 camaro.

Had our 72 out this weekend, and am using the double throw momentary switch. It took me a minute to remember where it’s hidden under the lower dash pad.

That’s where mine had been, I had it even for a while in the ashtray, then last night I just had this come to god moment and this morning measured, and it’s an exact fit to the lighter, I had a spare base I used and kept my good one if I want to switch back. But works great.

Dude, I’m switching over, arrives tomorrow, replacing switches with wireless key fob setup for around $20.00 tell me what you think?

Very cool neat wiring. Are you using a Brady Wire Label Maker with shrink sleeves?

Not that brand but yes shrink tubing all labeled at both ends of every white.

update:

1: fob for switches worked great

2: I have vintage air so the kick panel vents are sealed off… sooooooo, I used the lever hole that used to open/close the vent and installed a 10k POT for the dimmer on the Dakota digital.
