Greetings All,

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a set of FJ60 axles and a Cruiser Outfitters 3" HD kit for a FJ55 on Facebook "Toyota Land Cruiser Marketplace USA"

These axles were build for me by Doug DeLong @ Well Sorted Automotive. The axles and the lift kit were installed in my overland Pig project before I went in a different direction and they were removed and secured to a pallet. The axles will bolt up to a stock 55.

The lift kit is missing the shocks but has everything else listed on the Cruiser Outfitters website. In addition, there should be a set of reverse shackle hangers that were installed by ALCAN spring and subsequently removed.

I traded these parts for some fabrication work at The Rust Doctor in Grand Junction. I'm spreading the word because I'd like to help Jason Burge (owner at TRD) sell them AND because they are a smokin' deal for any Pig owner looking for a quick and inexpensive upgrade. ;) Jason is asking $5,000 for EVERYTHING, which was the cost of the parts to rebuild the axles (the total cost was $10,000). They have ARB's, 3.70's and RCV front shafts.

If you are interested, please search for "Jason Burge" on the Facebook "Toyota Land Cruiser Marketplace USA" or shoot me a message and I will connect you directly to Jason.

I hope these will be of use to someone here.

Cheers, Dan

Thanks for your messages and interest.

I forgot to mention that these axles have no miles on them. They were installed and removed before the powertrain was put together. So....they've just rolled a few feet while under the rig.

I'll reach out to Doug regarding the parking brake.

Here is the text regarding the discs: "The front and rear are FJ60 axles. The front has IFS hubs to pull the wheels in a bit and we did the Tundra disc brake upgrade on it, obviously you've seen the rear has a disc brake conversion.. The front axle has RCV Chromoly shafts in it, the rear has stock axle shafts. Both have ARB air lockers and 3.70 gearsets.”

I went with a coilover arrangement in the front and airbags and softer springs in the back. Please see pics.

Thanks gentlemen!

Wow nice work, are those 80 balls & Birffs on that Ruffstuff axle ? Looks like Diamond Keyed knuckles.

Yeah, need about 1000 more pics. That looks wildly sexy. The 60 axles are a steal too, for anyone with a 40/55/60. I'm surprised they're still available

That looks like a great setup. You've come to the right place to advertise.

I looked at your website. Choosing Homer as your Alaska destination rather than Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse is a smart move.
