Is this the new low?

It sure is, I will get you on the list, Is that matching the frame you got from Dennis?

Year first sold: 67
Vin# FJ45-22434
Brass tag year- T67
Owners name: Tim Simpkins
Location: Oregon City, Or.

VIN shows it to be an early (2 or 3) of '65. Windshield frame is a pre-65. I'm 99.99% sure nothing has been changed on this rig! And yes, the bezel has been flipped!! ;)

Titled 65 production date 9/64 or 10/64 depending on how you read SOR's chart but I'm guessing 9/64.

Bought in Lincoln, CA in Jan. 96 from the brother of what I believe was the original owner who passed away. There were some real old reflectors that were stamped property of the county Lincoln in it.

SOR's chart which could be linkd in the first post to help others. Land Cruiser Frame Numbers - http://www.sor.com/catframe.sor

There’s a blast from the past! You were on Pirate when I first logged in in 2004! And your avatar hasn’t changed a bit! What’s your secret?

:p

Ha! Yeah, I took a loooong break from all forums, but with recent 55 rescue I was dragged back into the sandbox. I’m slowly venturing out of the 55 registry forum... tried going into the general 40/55 tech, but quickly ran away.

I find it interesting that everything says the LPB was sold in the states from 64-67, but the earliest one in the list here was registered first as a '65. I know this isn't a definitive list, but it still seems curious that there isn't a single one registered as a '64. 🤔

66 Spring Green LWB, all original and been in the same family since new. Here are some pictures

‘65 sold in ‘66 my guess. And an awesome find.

That's awesome Matt!! Need more of the story.
Vin # too!

Waiting for him to send me the vin. Truck was in the same family since new. The sellers aunt and uncle owned it and they used it for years and then gave it to his dad or grandfather. No one has done anything with it in probably 30 years.

I’m not sure he just told me 66 so was just going off what he said. Haven’t seen it in person or gotten the title yet
