Grab that '69 hood and that '69 grill!

That's not a part out option. It was a running, driving shop truck that, I think, an employee wrecked. It was parked, vandalized, but Josh didn't think it'd be an option unless whole, for reasonable money.

Everything is for sale......

The blue one is what's being offered up as ready to pull and it does have hood, though I didn't see.

Money was discussed on the green and white that I could live with, but thinking they're more motivated, or more willing to pull what I need off the other, at least that's what I understood texting Josh after I left.

Waiting on the call from Mike, now.

Did score 5 wheels!

did you catch a price for the trasharoo prototype? the one that goes in the engine bay? it's gotta be rare

Oh wait!

Open Country M/T comes in a 33x10.5R15:

That is your tire!

NLA.

Going to check 4WP once they open, because it'll let be add to cart, but the wholesaler here said it's because they've not updated or they may have inventory somewhere, but that they're not being produced.

TiresDirect showed, but checking out, showed back ordered.

Had this issue finding the 345 KM2s. They'd all take the money, then email stating back ordered with no production/delivery date offered.

They have the KM2s held, regardless.

What?!? Really disappointing. That link was to the Toyo website...

those lug nuts would not bother me at all ...
do a dab of paint marker on each nut over to the stud if really concerned.

Had to push her out. She wasn't wanting to start and at 130-140 degrees inside the bay, I'm done for the day.

Caps wouldn't fit for love nor money, but last of my concerns.

Going to run the 3-link calcs, cause she's dying for a lift now. Haha.

Seriously, think a minimal lift, if not decent springs may be the ticket. These are worn and the Cruiser lean is dramatic.

Thought the bevel on logs was wrong, but think its the bore is worn out from 41 years, so you're probably right and no cause for concern.

Will torque lugs again before/when driving.

You only have a couple of options as far as lift on a 55, either custom Alcan's (they have the specs) or Kurt put together an OME kit with 40/60/70 bits ... but you have to relocate the rear spring hangers. Either one will be a nice upgrade.

Or you can link and lift the hell out of it :flipoff2:

The Alcans seen a good option since, I believe, they can vary the rate and height, but mostly because less is more, and 1-2" is all that I really want. Think they can do that.

Have communicated with Kurt and that seems a viable option too, but won't be using the OME shocks nor stabilizer, and until I had a definitive goal, didn't want to harass him about splitting up.

Either one will be a nice upgrade.

I'm wondering if OE height springs may do the job.

Considering the lean, I know they're tired and it doesn't look to bad, as it sits. Just a little higher will be ideal for mall crawling. Haha.

You want to hear something funny?

In my original dreams before buying, 3 linking the front and rear were a big part of it, as well a 2UZ similar to scottryana's.

The frame dimension are very similar to the 80, but narrower and 6" shorter wheelbase, light weight, yet a wagon.

60 or 80 width axled, three link on coil overs, V8, all sounds great.....but then, I started thinking about it, and it'd only be good as a wheeler, wheelers get the crap beat out of them, I already have two to wheel, and want to build something I can enjoy just driving until my times up (many, many years from now, I hope), to leave the kids.

I've hunted a garage queen 40 for many years, pre-Mud. My complaint about the majority was, all had SBCs and, to me, wasn't what I was after.

Not knocking it, just wasn't my thing (hence the 2UZ....but that takes more than the aboriginal skills I lack), and really started to appreciate stock.

She will be riding on Radflo's though.

Forgot to add ... wheels and tires look great man! I've got a set of the 55 front frame horns if you need them, you can have them for shipping $ ...

Tucker

Thanks for the offer. There may be some in the back with the bumper and other misc parts. Will check before taking you up on that.

Yes. Anywhere time I've wanted KM2s, I've had to source three here, two there, especially on the 16" rims.

The one time I want something different, there's 3 KM2s sitting on the floor of the local mom and pop tire shop I frequent, with another at a warehouse in town. (Ordered the 5th).

The last outlet for the Toyo's that held promise, or at least the guy on the phone thought that could get, was 4WP. They called as I was standing in shop to say there weren't any at any warehouse or distributor within their network and that Toyo would fill back orders first, so uncertain to a date.

It could be worse....

Talked to Mike from Cruiser Corps last night and struck a deal on the front of the blue and white 55.

Not the best deal, but the panels are decent, inners are good, he said hoods in good shape, so they're pulling everything fire wall forward this week.

Still waiting on a price for the 69. It's solid and the body is in great shape for these parts, but hoping he prices it so stupid high that I won't consider it. Hahaha. (I don't think I can handle one, let alone two).

Delancy, if only 1-2 inches why not just shackles. Inexpensive and quick. And to get rid of lean have springs re-arched. Or find a local shop to do custom springs. Have no experience with Alcans but heard good and bad about.

Thanks Bob.
