Could you help me to figure out what the knob directly to the left of the 4wd switch does? I have not been able to find anything about what this knob does.1966 FJ40
3 speed on the column
ignition key on left end of dash
windshield levers
heater style with detached control knob panel (3 knobs for...?)
4wd engage lever on dash
steering wheel and horn button style
no provision for a radio
steel defrost deflectors at bottom of windshield
3 embossed horizontal stripes across middle of dash
no dash pads
3 dash indicator lights for...?
dash knobs:
"LIGHT", WIPER"...?

what about the one left of the knob that engages 4wd, the 2nd to the left from the lever?That engages the 4wd
The lever shifts from 4h to neutral to 4 low
Could someone also send an image of the throttle knob route? Thanks!1966 FJ40

This is the cowl vent?do you mean the right of the knob?
the one with the wavy lines on it?

yeah I haven't been able to figure out what it is...My mistake I thought you were referring to the pic LITP post # 102
no idea on the one in your pic
I don't have that switch and I don't have a cig lighter on my 1965
cowl vent didn't appear until 66 or 67 with the disappearance of the windshield frame vent
