Thanks Dan. I didn't make it to Remco yesterday, but I must today.

How about 3:30pm on Saturday? That should give the testing folks time to get their scores.

That sounds like a plan. See you then.

It's hard to believe this project has reached a sunset moment. Thanks to Diesel Dan, Mike, Evan, Jerrod, and Andrew for the help installing the roll cage and bikini top. I think I can finally say this project is done ... or as done as any Land Cruiser project can be.

Tomorrow I will take Da'40 for a putt to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains where I will take some poser pictures for those that didn't see it today. Co-travelers welcome.

That's not a half bad idea....

What time are you leaving? I'm probably up for a little spin.

Dan

Jon - It's been a long haul, but I am extremely impressed with the finished product. You have really put a lot of time and effort into this, but I think you are really going to enjoy it...ON THE TRAIL!

Not exactly trail, but good enough.

1) On top of Elk Mtn with the repeater.
2) View on top of Elk Mtn.
3) On the way up.

Jon what is the wheel base?

94 inches, 4 inches longer than factory.

Sunset? Now you get to *drive it*!

Two inches front, two inches rear.

Congratulations!!!

The whole ride looks great. I don't get on mud very often anymore, but when I do, I go straight to this thread.

Love to see it in person someday.

Looks great. I'm glad to see it finished and finally set loose into the woods.

Very close to 12K. It ran so good I can't wait to see how it runs at sea level.

Looks great John, I can't wait to see it in person.

How did you get the 2" front and rear? I re-drilled the spring perch on the rear axle of my LX for 1.5" longer at the rear and it made a great improvement. I plan to do the same to the front.

Cheers,

Josh

I have Alcan springs. I told them to place the axle bolt 2" forward/rearward, and make the springs 2" longer.
