343 will last, not sure who has proven it won't. I have almost 6,000 miles on mine with 620ft/lbs going through it.

I am thinking I want to go with the nv4500 swap more then the auto. Does Dustin sell parts of his kit or do you have to buy the whole thing? The wiring harness, cruise and throttle linkage, and inter cooler plumbing would be a huge time saver.
I'm not so confident, the torque impulse of a cummins is different than that of a v8 even at 620 and with high torque right off the line its still different than a v8. I'll be watching turbophils build to see though. Him and cjmoon seem to have their tranny game on lock and I know they want to build some power so they're the ones to watch.Transgo kit, details and pics are in my build thread. I think I did drill the holes out between truck and hot rod size or maybe I went full hot rod, I would have to look. Lol. There was quite a bit of flairing before the kit between shifts after the kit it is solid.
we have plenty on 6BT's and NV4500's here in Ohio

At 30k with a 700 ft lbs cummins I'll beleive its proven.
I had a conversation with Dustin about a week or so ago about an NV4500 kit. He does sell the kit minus the auto trans parts (computshift, converter, bellhousing). The kit is about $3500 (don't quote me). I also asked about an adapter to mate the NV4500 to an HF2AV, which he will make utilizing a 2wd NV4500 main shaft. Price for a single adapter is about $850...$700 if he is making more that 1 to account for setup time. That is cheaper than buying the NV4500 to 60 series split case adapter...plus you don't have to go buy and rebuild a 60 series case. This is most likely the route I will be taking when the time comes.
I plan to use a new HDJ80 pedal, haven' figured out the master cylinder yet. I expect I may need to modify the stroke to get the correct ratio.I have a split case already, $250 rebuild, $650 for AA NV4500 to Split. My question is what clutch pedal and master cylinder setup would work best. HDJ80 Clutch pedal?? 60 pedal?? Dodge pedal??? The other reason I would like the NV4500 is a true Part time 4 wheel Drive. To get my lockers to operate I figure I would have to trick the CDL switch some how. Sounds like a body lift is needed for sure.

I already part-timed my HF2AV case and replaced all the seals while I was at it. The 60 series cases have a bit of a whine to them, which is one of the reasons I would like to retain the 80 case. It's nice to have the option. I am hoping this can be accomplished without a body lift, Dustin believes it can be accomplished with some tunnel massaging (1/2" on either side).
I posted details on this 13 posts above. There us s theory and dustin will build it, but it has not been done as of yet.
Would you happen to have the part numbers?I used a manual 80 series clutch and brake pedal. Easy to source from Japan. Same with the master cylinder.
I went through Dave Stedman and just told him what I wanted. I don't have his contact info right now but others have used him. I'm pretty sure his info is in numerous threads.Would you happen to have the part numbers?
