Just finished a general cleanuup of the 40. The paint was very bad, many years of it, probably scraped off 20 coats of paint, came off in sheets. Scraped it down to bare metal, pulled most little parts and then got it shot at uncle earl's for cheap. Came out decent, I am happy, it's a trail truck. Cleaned up the fenderwells with bed liner, as well as the rockers and fixed a bunch of little things that were bugging me. Had a bunch of parts powdercoated as well. Amazing what a few bucks and a LOT of elbow grease will do.

had to replace one of my optima's yellow tops because the truck sat so long, that was a bummer, fyi, optima is giving $25 rebate on their batt's right now, and amazon has them for $156, free ship and no taxes, so all in all, about $130 for a new optima, not bad!

see ya,
