Does anyone here want a used oem canister out of a 99? I don't know, maybe you'll save some money and try to rebuild it like in post #5 on this thread. Just pay for shipping and it's yours. Located in the SGV Los

@2001LC I already installed it, but there was a difference. The new one was a lot lighter than the old one. Does the weight matter?

Old CC weight compared to new. Indicates, how badly saturated old was. The added weight, is due to saturation of charcoal.
I keep a log of these weights. Which helps me "know" when R&R of CC was correct/justified.

What is the weight of a new or healthy CC? What all is attached when you weigh it?

Year OZ.

06-07	87.4/88.1
03-05	90.1
98-02	? I've not had a new. I've never replaced one.

I find the bad ones, weigh 18 to 25 oz. over new.
