Today I removed the left fender and scuffed it up with red scotch pad. And cleaned it up.
I had a spray can of Cyngus White a member tossed my way. And I finally got around to spraying it. Turned out pretty good.
Now she is has a shiny matching fender.

Installed new doors strikers on my 40 series.
No more rattling Doors.
Order these from Spector off road.
Also installed some universal rubber seals just on the bottom half of the doors.
Better seal.
Next I am replacing the door hinge pins.

Success!!
I finally got my turn signals to operate.
Turned out the Hazard switch was not feeding the (green) wire to the turn signal (GL) wire when you turned on the key. I had Hazards only with the constant power supply.
Also had a break on the jumper wire in the turn signal switch cause I was only getting right blinkers only. Fix that up and was good to go.
Only problem is I lost my Ebrake indicator light. 🤔

So have had a slight problem with my turn signals. I attempted to repair the old turn signal switch but the stalk was so wonky I ended up purchasing a new turn signal switch and installed it. Once I got it all plugged in I was getting some sporadic flashing on the unit.
As per Coolerman’s suggestion he had me check the bulbs and replace the flasher unit.
So I did. I picked up a used original flasher unit from Spector off road and it works. Apparently the new style one I had purchased either gave up the ghost or it shorted it out.
Now I have functioning turn signals.

Couldn’t find the source to connect my parking brake indicator light.
Reached out to Coolerman and he guided me as to where to find that wire.
I looked and just barely found a stub of wire sticking out from out the wiring harness on the drivers side. Peeled back some of the old tape and found the said wire. Stripped the end and added a bullet connector to it.
Now that part of the my lights is done.
Satisfying to have everything working on this rig.

It's the only thing that doesn't work on mine due to a 60 series master cylinder. It lights up when I touch the bulb to the back of the ignition (by accident) so I know it works just can't figure out the "conversion" wiring

Yeah, i wouldn’t know. I’m sure looking at it and studying it I’m sure it can be made to work.

So I got all my turn signals, parking brake light and Hazards all sorted. I replaced the burnt out fuse for the hazards closed my eyes and waited to hear the pop. To my surprise it didn’t. I think it was that faulty turn signal flasher that had the short.
Lost my gauges and reverse lights after all this and emery cloth the contacts in the gauge fuse holder and that did the trick.
Now to tackle the wiper motor, horn , and heater switches.

I tried every combination of grounding with no avail. I've followed/watched a thread a while back but no one has posted "how" (or if) they got it working only vague ideas with no follow up

When I bought this 40 series it came with a a hard top. I had it on for only a small time.
Then I took it apart cause the original fiberglass top was crushed by a tree or something. I removed it and threw it away. Joe from Rawson Motorsports gave me one that was in a little better shape other than a crack in the middle and it had some type textured coating on it.
I finally pulled it out and sanded the texture coat off and smoothed it out.
Once all the coating was removed in got to work on the crack. I fiberglass’ed what’s the underside of the top since it had a dip.
Got that temporarily fixed and put my efforts into prepping the top side crack. So what I did was v groove a long the crack cleaned it up and used SMC/ Fiberglass filler to fix and repair the cracks. I used a floor jack and blocks to level out the cracks and have them line up once I start filling it.
