Once I prepped the cracks and lined them up it was time to mix the filler and start filling.
Waited the allotted time it required for the filler to dry and started sanding and moulding to the contour of the top.
No more crack. It is fixed with minimal drop.
I can go back keep using the filler to build it up.
It is minimal build up I need to make it level.
So far it is good enough for who it’s for.
Next is to prep it and paint the top and get it back together.

Worked on the 40 series today,
I finally dug into making the wipers function.
Took apart the motor and cleaned out the old grease. Cleaned it up and re greased everything. Soldered a few contacts.
Took apart the wiper switch and cleaned it out as well.
Had some wires crossed at the connector. Did a search and found a thread of someone having the same no go problem. Switched some wires and all good now!
Functioning wipers low and high.
Very quiet too!

I need to do this. It’s basically free, which is good this time of year.

It is quite easy really!
Just need to make sure you don’t lose any of the small washers and put them back in the same way.
Make sure the small ball bearings don’t fall out.

Worked on the heater this week.
Got the front heater boot from CruiserCorps. Need to add some thick foam to the heater box and heater duct tube for it to seal some.
I still may use some black gaffers tape to seal the edges from the outside.
Installed the vent tubes. And tied them with zip ties. Heater blower blows at high speed and low speed.
Also, got the rear fan to operate. High and low speed works. Thanks to @CruiserTrash for the motor. Heating complete.

Stripes is Famous! Hopefully you'll be able to share the final product when available.

Wild how many people are necessary to take some photos. It's not a world I am familiar with, but it looks like a site I am familiar with on municipal projects where there are 20 people watching 3 people do the actual work.

Lots of moving parts in a production. But, yes there seems to be an assistant for an assistant yesterday.
whatever, I was fed and had snacks and got paid. pulled up a chair and just watched.
Good Day overall.
I’ve worked on a couple TV shoots that were similar. Lots and lots of people “working” but I’m not sure exactly what they’re doing. Lots and lots of hospitality, no expense spared on tables full of food and such. It was all strange to me but probably normal in that industry.

From @samc2447 to you. This is the circle of mud giving.

You mention switching wires. Mine are color for color at the wiper motor plug and I get nothing. I cleaned the switch a couple years ago and haven’t ever used it. I cleaned and regreased the motor today and half reinstalled it hoping for action, but no dice.
Any chance you have a pic or diagram if your wires aren’t color for color?🙏🏻
