Yes I meant the end link was shorten in Broski mod.

@pvhobo I found your post in the sway bar thread after digging for it. Interesting way of positioning the bar. Is that notched bracket you made welded onto the 4x4labs bumper metal inner wing? Looks like it at least or is it directly welded to the frame?

Now ive seen pvhobos, nukegoats, and Broskis variation of install. I think I'm going to try and see how the top bar fits. But I'm still leaning on broskis inside frame mod. It's the cleanest install I think so far

Here's another version for you :) There's a few more out there too but I can't think of the user names

Thanks for sharing,I have looked at quite a few of the anti rock installs here on mud.
I was inspired by @pvhobo because his install made it work with out spacers or wider axles.
I'm no expert at sway bars.
As it sets the Rig is at the center of travel at ride height and the anti rock arm is parallel to the ground and at center of travel at the same time.
It was a tight fit but it looks like everything clears. I'm running 3.5" back space wheels but no spacers, so there's 1" more space between the tire and frame.
The links were 14" and I cut them down to 7" the issue was there's 7" of rod with no threads so I had to cut the middle out and join the two ends.
Unfortunately I cut through a break line when prepping the axle to weld the tab on so waiting for parts before I can take it for a test ride.
Lettings the paint cure while I'm waiting for parts.

Hey Spyduh sorry for the confusion yesterday, misunderstood you.
Yes the notched bracket is welded to the inner wing.
My bumper wing plates were the main reason for over the top of the frame mount but my air tank was going to be up against the sway bar tube as well.
Mounting it inside the frame is a cleaner look for sure.

My parts order showed up.

It included the hard break line that nicked a hole in. I went ahead and replaced both hard lines with new clamps and hardware.
With the break lines done, I got busy putting the Anti-rock back in painted up all Prudy.

I also cut the center of the mounting Pipe out between the frame leaving just 5" on either side welded to the frame. The Red bar that you see is the torsion bar part of the sway bar.

The threaded drop links were cut down, welded back together sleeved rosette welded and painted to match the rest.

So far very happy with the way it came out, Still need to bleed the breaks then I can test drive.

What’s in the packages the battery tray is sitting on?

That's a good question. there were called Battery box pads. good thing they were only $4 buck because I'm not sure were they go. 🤷‍♂️

I did a run with it yesterday, The sway bar dose make a big difference just not in the ways I though it would.

Flexing is not a issue
1620999539660.png

The arms are super close but not hitting on droop
1620999630396.png

You cant see it in this picture but but there is frame rub at full stuff.

one more

I use this spot a lot to test my Rig, I was surprised that it felt way more stable flexed out with the sway bar 🤷‍♂️ where I thought it was going to make the most difference I'm not seeing much gain at Freeway speed, not that it feels bad it still feel like a lifted 4X4 0n 39s ;)
Now getting on the freeway was a noticeable difference, felt way better more stable and flatter in the turn.
And the best part no low hanging fruit to get hung up on the ROCKS :rofl:

I was also working on upgrading my on board air. I had installed a Viair, when I was on 35s It was barely adequate, with 37s so slow I never used it, with 39s it was just dead weight back there.
1620478588706.png

So it was time to start over. I was looking at the Extreme Air, but after a conversation with @LandCruiserPhil , at his suggestion I decided to try a Puma.
1620479767985.png

So after some initial testing I was able to fill my 39s from 10 psi to 25 psi in approximately a minute and a half to a minute 45 seconds.
Happy with those numbers I ordered the rest of the stuff to put it together.

It well reside where the Viare was, but its larger size required more custom fabrication .
1620480904717.png

I well retain the Viair mount but it needs to be beefed up. It also a bit wide to fit so I cut into the panel and made a cover. The cover gives it the room that it need and will allow plenty of airflow.

For the record, As much as I like all the upgrades, the dam Beer virus canceling a lot or runs and people just staying home. I really need to stop working on this thing and just go wheeling !!!!!!!!!!

Delta got some of my hard earned cash also, when I have time I well get this in stalled as well.

There a few other things in the works also, Keep waiting for my Wife to ask whats up with all the unopened boxes Haha 🤷‍♂️

:hmm: arms? I have 10-15 of their boxes stacked up as well and don't recognize that one lol.

Do you mind explaining why no EA? I was going this direction.

Nice work BTW, you have alot going on!

It’s the rear overhead storage shelf in the box.
No EA ?

Good choice with the Puma. Phil probably counceled you already on voltage for best performance. This is what I'm reading at my Puma Anderson connector connected to my aux AGM battery with the engine running @ approx 1200 rpm. You'll like the Delta overhead rack, too!

Mine's not mounted too fancy. Kept the tank and it slides out with the fridge for better access if needed.

Believe they are foam insulators that were around the OEM battery. At least that's what I decided when I ordered my battery box. I didn't order them, and with a Group 27 in there, not sure there's even room for foam.

What size cables and c/b will you power the compressor with?

Thanks for sharing. My Puma relocation will be following yours shortly

Ah, that explains it, I opened that box a year ago lol. Not much used on it yet but I suck at storing things.

EA= Extreme Air

what size cable and how long is the run to get those numbers ?

LandCruiserPhil suggested that I try the Puma when I inquired about the EA. after a few tests I decided it was fast enough for me at half the price. 🤷‍♂️

Pure copper welding cable, I have been advised to use # 4 Gauge AWG. I well be testing some #6 Gauge if i don't get satisfactory result #4 gauge it well be. ;)
Curious minds want to know.
